That is correct the uk600 has a fix stand uk650 and uk850 has adjustable stand. They all support vesa mount. My left is your right :) video thing

Thank you very much for these videos. I am looking to buy a monitor for my laptop. I have seen that the Lg 27ul500-w has an AH-IPS panel which consumes less and has a higher quality panel than the IPS of the lg 27ul850-w. I think that with a VESA mount the Lg 27ul500-w would be a very good investment.

Do you experience any brightness changes and fluctuation when gaming on HDR on the? On my LG27UN850 HDR has this problem of slightly changing brightness while watching a movie on PC or playing a PS4 pro game in HDR, even when Smart Energy Saving is set to off(which is actually grayed out when in HDR mode) So I set it to off when in SDR mode, then I hop into HDR mode again and the option looks to be still off but it is grayed out(As if the HDR is not even considering that option when it is in use). So What exactly is this?

I did not experiance that. The only thing i can think of isnthe energe saving option that would do that

@@TeckDrivenTeck yea that is the problem because the energy saving option is grayed out while on hdr for some reason. But yea if you are in hdr and playing a game, look at bright areas and bright skies in a game. This is when it is most apparent and you begin to see brightness going slightly up gradually.

Thanks for the great comparison. I currently have the Lg 27uk850w, do you think the lg 27ul850 or a 27uk600 would match better in terms of colors? Or do you think if I calibrate the monitors it will match up? Thanks in advance.

Its hard to say for sure as Lg does not provide as muchbonfo as to what coor science they use. I would say that uk will probably match beter when it comes to colors. In ul serries they dont say but they have made small changes to color science. At the same time even uk that was build at different time might have colors not match perfectly

@@allenlum9622 I do see slight difference in between my Uk850 and Uk600. But to be fair the UK600 is almost 1 year older and my monitors are on 8hrs daily.

the amount of icons on that desktop make me feel uneasy lol

The 27uk850 have a Calibration studio (color pro) software and the others not, also is calibration ready..... is this a good thing and worth the price difference? thx. no sure which one buy.

It really depends what you will use the monitor for, Color calibration is usefull if you deal with video or photography production. otherwise its just better to go with the lower cost, till thru HDR 10 becomes available at reasonable price

Hey I am confused between LG 27Uk850 vs Lg 27ul850-w I need a monitor to connect my MacBook Pro (via usb c at 4K 60 ) and I will be connecting it to the PS5 as well (with 4K 60) Will UK or UL 850 be a good choice ? Also, I have been told that MBP supports 4K 60 only via USB c to DP cable and it only supports 4K 30 via single usb c cable Plz help !

Both monitors are practicly identical. Some claim that the uk850 has better contrast but the ul850 is a newer model. For PS5 you will not notice the difference. Go with the one that you can find cheapest.

Hey, what is the difference between LG 27UL550 vs LG 27UL650 ? I see that the brightness and coverage is a bit less with the 550, but it is around 360e while the 650 is 475e... Is the difference worth it ?

It depends on what you use the monitor for, most of the time better coverage means better quality of image.

From what I saw from the spec sheet, the difference is the 600 has smaller bezel and also brighter screen thats all.

Hi I am using 27 inch 4k UL500 monitor as an extended display, the reds are displayed orange.I tried caliberating the color, it dint help.Dissapointed :( .Do you have solution.thanks

Did you try connecting it to another computer, it could be bad cable or video card setting.

in my opinion 4K is better on 32" on 27" you tend to upscale anyways

What a pity, that you need to get the length of a video of 10+ minutes to get monetization. It doesn't make sense to listen to self-repeats several times. Thanks for your time, I hope that 8+ minutes news in monetization will make your videos shorter with the same meaning.

Today i have bought ul 600 , but i call the seller to change to ul 850,, because 850 look so premium n have many fitur,, i think if we buy the 850 we have more than cheaper,, there re have built in speaker which no need to buy speaker anymore.. that.s perfect,, its has all in one on ur table. I have changed my choice it last minute even i have to pay penalty for the changed my unit. :)

The 850 is better and the price difference is small

Insane! In usa it's less then half of the price compare to Germany. Price in Germany : 735 Euro; in usa : 372 Euro.

Not mentioned the refresh rate and hdr

I have not mentioned the refresh rate and HDR becuse it is not tru HDR and the refrash rate is fairly standard at 60hz at the moment, only few manufacturers have higer refresh rates 4k monitors. You would need a really expensive video card to run them

I would go with cheaper one, If was going to spend more it would be because it would have higher refresh rate. They are both 60hz,

look one is us and one is uk
