My dad had an Lexus LS for years and it was soon passed down to me. Such a smooth ride and reliable car. 😊 Transmission eventually gave out after 15 years, and 300,000 miles. I loved that car. This makes me miss having a Lexus. 💜

@@skydyleyw0037 I paid $7,000 for a 130,000 mile 2004 LS430 standard package without the navigation and air suspension during the early start of Covid19. The engine was leaking in 2 lower oil pans and the top gaskets. I repaired all except 1 of the lower oil pans that require the steering rack to be removed. I also had to replace the starter which is a $1,000 job(did it myself). And also replace a passenger front door lock motor and window regulator. I swapped out the trunk latch as it was not closing well. Apart from that, it's been trouble free. Everything works except the side mirrors as they were damaged. I had to get some body work and painting done for side, front and rear. Overall I put in a total of around $10k when including repairs.

That’s the one thing about my 460 that I love it’s pretty loud and aggressive but on the inside it’s still more than comfortable and my surround sound on long drives totally blocks out any droning I’m just cruising. Such a perfect car

I have the exact same setup on my SC430! The sound with the top down is so much louder than with the top on. Turns heads all the time. Love it!

These models have the best engines ever made their amazingly reliable it's crazy. I myself own the GS 400 model with the 4.0 V8 and it's going on 300k miles and I've owned it for 12 year's now with literally no engine problems whats so ever I've literally replaced the battery for the sound system that's all and I've driven it hard up and down mountains and she's still going very nice.

I’ve seen that channel and have noticed that! And then sometimes they’ll talk over the exhaust sound which really annoys me lol. Also wish they would show what it sounds like inside the car.

The M45s are BADASS!!! They are sleepers and they’re insanely quick.. they blow the doors of an LS, but the LS gon ride you out for 300k miles , the infiniti probably won’t

Absolute sweet exhaust note; Bruh it sounds like a domestic and not an import…. Did you have to upgrade the ECU or remap it? Or reflash it? I have a 2005 UL LS myself and I’m thinking on replacing just the factory mufflers with a Flowmaster or a Borla system; what’s your advice?

No man he just straight up had them removed and a straight pipe welded in place, no ECU remapping or anything. I feel like Borla has always had the slight edge in quality over Flowmaster but that’s just my opinion, you can’t go wrong with either as these V8s sound really good.

If you have the money, check out Quantum Auto for a remap. You can make the car a lot better just from flashing while keeping everything stock because the stock and most of the gain is from remapping the transmission logic to make it respond quicker and wake it up.

Did you get rid of the cats too or just the two resonators and two mufflers?

I would start with a muffler delete and see how you like that

What are the wheel specs ?

What are you lowered on? I like those tires, they seem pretty wide? Gives it a good look though. Exhaust is nice, one of the more aggressive setups I've heard for this car. Probably turns heads. Unless you're a young enthusiast, people don't think of a Lexus to be loud and rowdy, let alone possessing a V8 engine under the hood.

Ask if the trans has ever been serviced. If the trans is original that will be the only upcoming weak point but if it’s clean and well maintained it’s still a good deal.

I’ve got custom headlights/taillights for LS430, also parting out some cars if you might be interested in parts.
