Lexus and Toyota have the worst product planning team for India. What was stopping them from giving us the N/A V8? Then they dropped the 3rd row of seats from the LX and LC even after asking more than both the kidneys. And not even speaking about their stupid cross-badging Maruti Suzuki cars.

Unfortunately, people here in this community and the mass market are very different with entirely different priorities and knowledge.. Thankfully, the recent market has been very adventurous with their choices.. we have other preferences other than just mileage 😌

@@shogunero3.6 I think it is more to do with the fact that Toyota group only have eCVT for all of their hybrid cars. Might have costed them a lot to develop another transmission, just for the LC. But if they want me to pay 2.5cr, why not give me the 5.0 N.A. V8 with the 10 speed TC? It's cheaper, more fun, more reliable and better sounding.

You, Sir, have reviewed the wrong LC500. The base version of this car gets the most amazing, most sonorous, most sexy sounding 5L NA DOHC 32V V8 touched and worked on by the blessed hands of the guys at Yamaha (the same people that made the LFA sound like it does). No doubt the LC500h has a 3.5L DOHC NA V6 (the same engine that is supercharged and put into the Lotus Emira) combined into a hybrid system, and I'm sure it's really good, but nothing beats that V8. It is a Quad-Cam 32-Valve Masterpiece of a V8 that doesn't make it's 472 horsepower until 7100 glorious, finger-licking delicious RPM. And, once again, Yamaha has turned into a musical instrument, bellows on acceleration, cracks in upshifts & downshifts, fires bullets when you hit the redline. It is an Acoustic Masterpiece that is, surely up there with the LFA for how good it sounds. The only crime is its infotainment system, that won't allow you to change radio stations while driving, because it's that badly done and that distracting. Otherwise, the interior is beautiful, simple, expensive-looking and timelessly beautiful. It's a great place to be in, sit in, listen to that musical V8 as you smash through continents and mountain roads in incredible comfort, feeling like the most special person ever, sitting behind the wheel of what is unquestionably, Japan's Aston Martin. Amazing Speed with Uncompromised Comfort. It is definitely one of the Top-3, if not, THE Best Grand Tourer of all time.

That’s the output from the engine alone . Combined output of engine and electric motor is 354 horsepower and 500 Nm . Might not sound like a lot but the torque assist from the electric motor is super strong .
