Installing Lexus GS350/RC350/GS200t F-Sport calipers and 14" 2-piece rotors.
Check out other three paint and prep videos I have in this series to see the condition before I got them paint ready.

My Total Costs:
CALIPERS $200 (junk yard)
PADS (LOW DUST) $60 (ebay.to/30WFNkM)
ROTORS (2-PIECE) $650 (ebay.to/3C9h92S)
IS-F SHIELDS $70 (Lexus Dealer 47781-53050, 47782-53050)

PLEASE ANSWER!! I have a 2006 Lexus is250 and am looking to do the is350 brake upgrade kit.The rear rotors are larger and the rear calipers are minimally different but I saw one example where the rear is350 caliper wasn't a direct bolt up to the is250 and the mounting bracket from the is250 had to be drilled and tapped to a different thread pattern to be able to bolt up the is350 rear caliper. If they had bolts like aftermarket BBK and make the rings replaceable, it would have saved them tons from the TSB. Most people replacing the rotors later are installing solid $50 rotors anyway after they realized the 2-piece are $250/each.

Everything is installed correctly, it doesn’t rub anything, it doesn’t catch, it slows down clearly better than a car, but the sprung weight has increased on the front axle by about 6 kg and I can see it in handling, reaction speed in the steering wheel, in the feeling of rutting. Did you drain the fluid before hand or did you do anything to slow down the flow when you were switching the brake lines?

For AWD, you can not do the GS350 Fsport. There isn’t enough back side room for the axle CV. You can do IS350 calipers and 2012+ rotors that have the hub venting on the rear.
