Inside there on my 2014 IS 250 where you put back the actuator into place there is a pink part which looks like two prongs hanging down and they were in the way. I was not sure what they were or what I needed to do with them because I did not see or notice them when I took the inner panel off and got my door handle off the car. Also I only saw this pink part on the rear door and it was not there on the front door. Now my front and rear door handles are not opening the door and I have to try and figure out BLINDLY what went wrong or what I need to do to get them working. I am worried the guys at the Lexus dealership will not know how to fix it if they have never taken door handles off or put them back on before. I took mine off so I could install or apply Vinyl wrap film on my doors and the rest of my car.

They also own the rights to the Borg-Warner brand, effectively being the descendant company of B-W. A massive worldwide supplier of OEM parts.

I have a dying driver's door lock actuator on my Scion but I've just been living with it because it's a weirdly expensive part

@2sroketurbo, did u have to re-program anything after u replaced the actuator? My sons auto unlock feature is not working(only on drivers door) and I want to repair before he goes back to college

PLEASE HELP! My daughter’s 2013 Lexus has locked us completely out. The key fob not the mechanical key is working. Any advice?!?

I replaced the drivers door lock on our ‘13 GS350. I was able to find a company who remanufactures them. Only problem, now the actual key, that is used for emergencies doesn’t unlock the door. I am not sure why this is? Maybe a programming thing? If the battery ever dies, looks like I’ll be crawling in through the cars trunk. Lol😅

You can take the assembly apart and just replace the motors in the older Lexus.

I’m done with my car. I told myself I’m not keeping money pits anymore. These things go out one after the other. Each time I bring it to my dealer they charge me $850 a pop! Had 3 go out within a year!

My 2 cents. Buy the cheapest part you can. The original Toyota part didn't last that long so why buy another one.

@@markg999 Nah, Lexus has been known for the Locks NOT working for 20+ years now, they want $800 each to replace. The best part is at random some day they will work and keep working for months then suddenly it will stop again.. we Lexus Owner's call it "Pride of Ownership"

@@The_TiminatorMy problem with the actuator is INTERMITTENT. It’ll work for a week then nothing. Same with driver AND passenger doors. I’ve got long arms so I just open back door, reach forward, and unlock it. It is a major pain but I’m just not convinced replacing it (them) will fix the problem. Any thoughts?
