You could have never seen Sebastian and Lewis become such close buddies before because of their contrast in personalities and lifestyles but after Baku their relationship got much better. Seb even revealed that Lewis is the driver who called him and texted him couple times cheering him up and motivated him to move forward after Ferrari suddenly announced that 2020 would be his last year with them. Later on Seb texted Lewis to get those 92 wins to break the record of most wins. Sebastian being the first one to congratulate Lewis on his 7th title to Lewis saying that he was happy to see him up on the podium after having probably hardest year in his career and later said how everyone is wrong to write Seb off. Those two are just supportive of each other and you could see how they admire one another. Excluding Kimi and Alonso who debuted in 2001 , Lewis and Seb both debuted in 2007 and are only ones left of the same era so they can relate and rely on each other a lot. They have both gotten so much hate having dominated the last decade and sharing 11 titles . People don't realize this but once these two are gone , Formula One just wont be the same . Let us appreciate their remaining time in F1 as much as possible.

I know this feel, this is me. I once had a training class that was made up almost entirely of Taiwanese and Chinese students. Kept playing dumb asking them things like why they weren't sitting at the same lunch table, it was hilarious to watch the reactions

I'm a Lewis fan, but Vettel shows a sense of humor above many drivers, especially when firing shots. Lewis in some of them was a bit rattled, while Vettel kept throwing the subtle punches unfazed.

I have always admired the respect these two have had for each other. They both started in F1 at more or less the same time and had success early in their careers, they know what each other’s journeys have been like. Despite being polar opposites in character they are quite similar in that they need to be comfortable and supported to achieve their best, and their best is unbeatable. When Seb had had his rocky patches Lewis was always very vocal in saying you can’t count Seb out, he knows how good he is. Apart from Michael Schumacher they are the only drivers who know what it takes to win 4 titles on the bounce in the modern era, and that’s something Lewis didn’t actually achieve until last year. They both know what it’s like to get the “it’s easy you have the best car” comments while knowing full well how hard they are working to maintain the success. At their peak both utterly destroyed their teammates (Rosberg less so but I think history will reflect kindly on just how good Rosberg actually was). At times both Webber and Bottas could beat them on pure pace but never consistently, same applied to Barrichello with Schumacher. I hope the race in Baku has rekindled Seb’s fire, it certainly looked like it did such was the enthusiasm he talked with in his post rave interviews. This is a guy who has won 4 world titles and 53 grand prixes, he has no need to get excited about a second place unless it’s from pure passion. I hope last year was his off year like 2014 was and he bounces right back. I don’t think he was that bad in 2019, Leclerc only just beat him in the championship, he had some rotten luck and Charles is continuing to show how he is possibly one of the fastest guys in qualifying of all time, you don’t take 2 poles in row in a car that clearly just isn’t the fastest, that’s the kind of thing Senna used to do in a Lotus. That frustrated him and caused some rookie errors to happen.

I’m not denying the possibility man... It can happen... but those things happen only once or twice in a decade... so the percentage of that happening is very very low

So much respect between these two! I think they had such a rivalry all still based on respect and they brought out the best out of each other during the peak of it. Like pushing each other to be at the top of their game. Shame how Ferrari couldn't keep up because the Red-Silver rivalry could have lasted longer for all of us to enjoy. You can also see them supporting each other and joking around in press conferences which is always fun and I already miss these two. It will be different now that Seb isn't in red anymore but I still am hoping to see them racing against each other for more races to come.

Watching them go from being the youngsters of F1 to the dads ages me. And I'm as old as Tsunoda.

The last time neither Lewis nor Seb finished in the top 2 of the WDC was in 2006. When neither had debuted. Such has been their sheer dominance. GOATs.
