I watched this maybe six months ago, liked it, came back six months later, and got more from it. I wish I could like this twice
What an absolute treasure if wisdom. Unsung hero of the year
So much valuable info!!
In the discussion about links in posts (29:19) Richard advises to add a link in a comment, not in the post. His views have been updated since then. In his Algorithm Insights 2024 report, page 39, he acknowledges that changes to the algorithm around Oct 2023 now bury these comments and it's a bad idea. Posts with links still don't get as much reach or engagement as posts without, but sometimes links are crucial for conversion.
Thank you for this great interview. I've listened to it twice now. So many great nuggets. Please have him on again!

Ah thank you Richard, I have 21,000 followers on LinkedIn and my engagement sucks. I have learned enough from you on this single video that I am about to "kill" so many of my shares and go back to the drawing board.
Learned so much, thank you for making this video!
Great points as I rebrand my photography business to a headshot business.
Awasome content guys ❤
Great interview, as always. I'm excited to hear more about the non-Zuck platforms.
Great content, pen and paper needed!
This was a good one!
Great video
Great interview. Learned a bunch. Any upcoming LinkedIn insights coming? Thanks again! 🙏🏽
Amazing interview, learned sooooooo much, any plans to have this guy back in the future?
Just remember if you have a young family focus on them first. Chasing career in the corporate world is a waste of time. In the corporate world you are replaceable. Tenure doesn’t mean anything. Your skills and your networking don’t mean anything. You are less than nothing. They are preying on you. Don’t miss a moment of the worst day of family life to maximize prioritize or strategize.
Say that you have a LinkedIn business page, what if the same group of people who engage with your posts are employees of the company, would LinkedIn punish the page thinking that you used an engagement bot?
😘
was this shot 5 years ago?...all of this stuff is common knowledge isnt it?

More like 5 days ago. We've noticed quite a number of changes with LinkedIn over the past year or so - especially in terms of what the platform considers with Dwell Time. -Jason

Should I put my Instagram and Facebook links/reels in comment section?
