I’m not usually a fan of autotune but I think it was used quite well. It makes the song feel so eerie! When it’s used vs without makes it feel like a tug of war between both sides. I like that’s he’s doing something completely different from what we’re used to from him.

This song is so good, so epic!! The lyrics, the dance, the meaning everything is perfect!!! Park Jimin came with everything!!! I can't wait to hear the whole album, I'm already obsessed with just the pre-release omg Also yeees, Waleska said it so right, this is the child of ON and Black Swan for sure!!!

I still can't believe the massive amount of hate the song is getting on kpop twt in the name of autotune. I absolutely loved the use of autotune, it elevates and enhances the creepiness of the song even more. Istg people hate just to hate. Oh well, everyone outside of twt is loving it at least 😁

It's the hard kpop fans who don't like bts that this autotune bothers. It is clear that the autotune was used as a musical instrument in its own right. I loved the way he used it. It's really original. When other kpop groups use it to enhance their voices, to come and fuck nothing live, there they find nothing to say. It's ridiculous

ABSOLUTELY IN LOVE WITH THIS SONG. I don't click with songs instantly from first listen so for this happen, i'm so shocked and overwhelmed. Also, THE DANCE?? Jimin will always be in touch with dance. This man is the embodiment of art.

Jimin is really good at making a difference in the way he moves in with the choreography and giving you emotion with vocals and presentation

I love the song. At the first listening, I admit the autotune disturbed me a little. Just as I was not a fan at first of the autotune in Shadow or even louder than bomb. But Bts has a pretty original way of using it. It's so well done that I see myself enjoying it. For me, it adds a sick originality to the song. It's like adding another musical instrument

He really took a risk. I don't think anyone was expecting him to hve any rap element at all. Which is very BTS of him. Do the unexpected lol. It threw me off guard at first, probably also bcoz we as fans expect him to sound a certain way after getting used to him as part of BTS. My first reaction was shock & confusion, I didn't know if I liked the song as a whole. I liked the production, the choir & his vocals on the hook from the get go. It took me like few listens to get used to the autotuned/rap part & now I am addicted to the song lol.

I liked the vocal effects right away because they reminded me of Interlude: Shadow, I felt they were using the autotune to mark different streams of though / feeling. And I really liked the fact an artist known because of his unique voice to distort it like that, it felt like an statement

I had the same reaction. I had to really digest the whole thing over several listens. I went from kinda cringing at the autotune in the 2nd verse, to tolerating it, to being ok with it, to actually liking it. The song got better with each listen. Ultimately though, the beat, the lyrics, the 1st verse, the artistry of it all wasn't lost on me from the get go.

I'm waiting for jimin's album from 2014. Now I'm freaking 25 y/o. Jimin's smf pt 2 is beyond my expectations. Can't wait for the full album to drop.

Tbh, when BTS announced their solo projects, I was really curious about what direction they would take. Especially the vocalists because most of their group songs were written by the rap line. So I was curious about the vocalists' own style. But I'm loving the projects they have put out so far. Jin's The Astronaut was perfect for him. And I'm so impressed by the rawness and honesty in Set Me Free Pt 2. Jimin absolutely killed it. I cannot wait to find out what the title track sounds like. And you guys are so right about Jimin being the only person to be able to pull this off.
