I was sneaky today, l did a level 33 Epic exchange armada solo in my T6 Enterprise running Decius (c) Kirk and Khan and killed the base on my own and completed the Apex Solo event in one go!

Can’t tell you how much this video helped me. I’m level 33 and was almost burned out. Now I have some plans.

Wise words mate. I burned out that bad I left the game for well over a year. I was a commodore in what was, at the time the no1 alliance on server 160. We went hard for a long time levelling up and winning 99% of the events. It got so tiring just trying to keep up with all the dailies and events that in the end 3 to 4 of us left one after each other. I've just come back to the game in the last few weeks and feel so much pressure because I'm only level 34, (which at the time was a top 5 player) but now everyone is just starting to get g4 ships. Seeing how you organise your time in-game is going to help me do the same. Great video mate.

Our ROE prohibit OPCing swarm space, so yeah, gutta do it the hard way. :) And yes, I will max out the Bortas before even touching an Enterprise or an Augur (even if I had the BP's).

You mentioned a video going over a vi’dar borg grinding crew. Can’t seem to find this video, and you trailed off without revisiting it.

I love faction miners got 4 of em, crystals keep coming latero ops my gas miner mines 22k per hour and cargo 1.6M for raids. This suggestion from rev douce is wrong imo. My advice is get faction miners as soon as you can they will make your dailies mining much faster and you can hit those 75k refines...

Hitting opc Franklings :( go grind your own stuff. maxing Franklin is headache enough without being hit. On our server hitting opc frankling is quickest way to getting yourself into a war.

@@MC-en9rg OPC in swarm space is only during swarm sundays on my server, and opc miners is never disallowed, if you want to keep it, take it home before you get caught with your OPC down.

@@zeked2004 our server real stays away from hitting frankies and BBs. But floating warships and opc miners (gas, crystal, ore and iso) can be targeted. I rarely have seen miners opc on resources.

It's allowed on our server but strongly frowned upon. Hit an opc Franklin and you'll be found and made to regret it. Not worth the risk at all.

Realy good hint. Save Epic credits for lv34 open all while u get ur shipyard to 34 to get ur epic ships. Them save for 39 ship.

I like the mining recommendations. I have noticed that I was not getting what I bargained for with 12k pulls. Will stick with 1750 so I can save up for bonus refinery. I did send Scopely a suggestion about adding Myc and Data to mining Mondays to give players more options. I received positive feedback from them, will see what happens. I do love the Franklin though. Now that it is in the 350k power range, it gets me through my dailys with minimal repair costs. It is still crazy that a franky can take out a discovery...😒

Anything that can be mined should be added.

I am surprised you did not talk about tri faction lock. I locked them at 32 and wished I had done it sooner. Super important to get faction cred and repair speedups on a regular basis.

Yes it is. I got mine at 32 also. I have over 12k 30 minute speed ups and it has only been about 2 months.

your advice is very helpful. however, I have not heard what to do about the development in the event of wars and protracted ones when any miner gets lost for 5 minutes

Lvl 45 BB + pan crew + mining Monday = fast paced lat system clearing

The best plan that is to achieve one goal at a time. I chose the way l play. Fed faction Solo. I have maxed Dvor, Franklin, Horizon, Botany Bay and T8 Vidar these l consider investment ships. I use T5 Anteres and l manage using outlaw place for gas, ore and crystal. Maxed mining crews. I have maxed Sally, T7 Intrepid and T6 Enterprise, but l have many maxed officers, all of my starfleet officers are maxed. At level 37 I have accepted the fact that growth is slow and l am not in a hurry to get to level 38. I will exhaust my researches and buildings and most of all take my time and enjoy!

I got in trouble yesterday for attempting to make a joke at a flub where coords were accidentally posted in wc. So posted my own after bc apparently when your not bubbled ppl cant find you

I just wanted to take this opportunity and tell you I think I watch too many of your videos. Last night I had a dream you were revealing the new territory ship for the next arc. It was a swarm like ship. Basically it was 6 ships docked together. Once it got blown up it put 5 little ships (weak like realtas) that just ran around in what ever system they were in avoiding attacks automatically. So lets say you where based in the system of take over, you could send this out, get it killed and send it back out, over and over making a swarm of tiny ships for points. Each 2 of these only gave 1 point, but with an ally dedicated to killing it, you could single handedly put up hundreds of points. Oh and yeah crash the servers too.

Great video...sound advice. I am as close to burned out as one can be without uninstalling. I am at 32. I may stay at 32. One of the reasons and one of the items you did not mention is the amount of UC and rares required for researches. Saving for ships is great but research IMO is important and balancing the two has been a task. Currently I am not doing a lot of research other than the new tree but I see some things in galaxy that look good but require uc.

I disagree with faction mining. I do mine daily because as meager as it is, the 115 faction credits help. Plus you get bonus ores. I just set my ships when I know I won't be playing....dinner...or in the morning before work.

@@Larommi I'm with you. I commented above before seeing this that I never leave ships doing nothing at the station. They're mining if they're not working at fighting or events.

im lvl35, only thing i have invested on were the prime researches, and buy the BP pack, other then that im heavy grinder, my daily routine starts with looking for 1 of the mat nodes(takes me 1.30 hour to finish 25k needed, i find and clear and then go immidiately kill swarms and daily hostiles(takes max 1 hour to do it for swarm daily and finish all 3 factions) when done i start doing borg, 30 minutes done and its about time the node i captured is done, and go look for new one in advance and capture to save myself time, then after 30 minutes borg i go do 15 minutes of eclipse, kill the 35lvls get loot for 2 days in one run, then after that i done all daily hostiles(while still mining) i start focus and finish the events if havent done previous day(events start at 7pm for me, daily start at 7am) and in meanwhile ive done the material daily minig, i dont feel i get burned out like as i have efficient daily routine, and save me lots of time, about refinery i do only 25ks as it is ballanced between all kind of refined mats, need commons if want to save lat in future, and after saying that ill share what ships i have at various tiers, augur T4 enter T3 D4 T3, brek intrepid and gladius at T4(skipped on them for the epic ships, i have maxed sally, T7 centurion and Brotas, have scrapped T9 mayflower and legioner, D3 in last component before T9 and scrap, Vidar T8, maxed franky , and i have every single ship before that at maxed lvl, im collector and saved all ships with 1 exemplar, everyone can do it and make if plan their activity time so in summury from what i do daily, all hostiles done in 1.45 hour, all mining done in 3.30 hour, and in meanwhile 24/7 i sit on lat node and get daily double refinery from T8 Dvor and forgot to mention i do data every 4 days 1 full cargo load, just find the right timing to do the perfect daily routine for you. good luck all and to you Rev, live long and prosper pirate

Can you do a video on crewing the Vi'Dar at different levels and what hostiles to hit? That'd be very helpful! I've trying to find out the best tactic, but because you can only travel to borg twice a day, it's quite difficult to properly compare all different officer combo's vs all level hostiles. With my Tier 5 Vi'dar with 7/10, 8/10 and 9/10 I can bring home about 17K probes hitting lvl 27 borg. Feels it's quite good, but no idea if its actually good or only mediocre XD

For the D3, can you get prime officer after scrapping it? I know you can from the mayflower. I'm faction locked rom/kilingon and am going to sit at 29 for a bit to re build my rss. but if I can get primes for the d3, that is something I can do while I wait to level

Messed up hitting opc Franklins or Vi'dars.

Monday and Tuesday is mining days here lately. The bonus refinery can only get 3 pulls because of the ridiculous cool down timer that Scopely thinks we need to slow our progression.

Deuce for Advisory President I've been a play to play for 2 yrs.. but went slow . Only now lv 24. But from what I hear here.. is that that which I've been saving for.. but ship and crew will be faster to get to.. Now of course play smart the deuce/wootanyu way ( srv 18)😂 then it's ok to press on . I've followed you a while now. But ready to ask direct questions.. Please let me know again How to do that

Tkx you!! Very good video, i am preparing for 28 so this is very interesting. Btw starting to get burned out at Borg hunting. I can only kill 25 in 1 turn kill, dont have 7 of 10 using C Uhura, C Kirk and Harrison on a 6th rank ViDar, i need about 6h to do 2 cells and get 210k nanos for 2 chests, that is insane, after 2 days of that i am thinking to just give up 2 chests and return at one chest till i can 1 turn kill higher lvl probes. Any sort of recommendations on where a 420k ViDar should hunt Borg for a decent wield with out making the player depressed 😅😅?

Im already 32, but things like how the BB is amazing for pre horizon lvl raiding and maybe helping you unlock khan slightly faster is ok, or what to do with a vidar (aka how far do you tier it before you stop) and the other ships with their stores?

@@spacequack5470 When I made this comment there was a lot of people in his and the STFC discord talking about going to just t7 and 1 gun upgrade and it was fine for then. I was asking about his opinion not only about the vidar concerning that, but the upsides/downsides to all the specialty ships. But too bad its just too easy to read part of a comment, add your own statement, and get snarky about it. Have fun trying to be relevant on comments that are a year old.

So once I reach lvl 39 is it basically game over? Or do we assume when G5 comes out all the G4 stuff will become cheap to repair so f2p can still enjoy the game?

I use kerla, klaa, and woteln. Depending on what I’m doing I’ll swap around who is Captian but my fully maxed D3 with that crew is currently 952k strength and 78k cargo so it’s an excellent pirate ship.

Those Envoy stats seem a bit of a stretch. You not only need to mine G2 Crystal, but you have to refine uncommon which seems like a strong limitation. Am I missing something?

Just an alternative view on mining for free to play people. As a lvl 30 f2p who has been playing less than a year and a half, I almost never stop mining. There is zero reason to leave a ship parked at the station doing nothing. We have 24 hours worth of shields a day so leaving a ship home for protection isn't necessary. If my ship isn't being used to fight for an event/daily or being repaired, it's mining or swapping out with a full miner. Not just for the materials but for the daily rewards for gas and crystal mining (I'm dual faction), for latinum, and for extra crystal because you can never have too much of it. If you're free to play, keep your ships working for you at all times, especially when you're NOT actively playing the game.

Those are the players that I dislike the most is the one that hit OPC swarm

ISS yelly will be strongest ship between 3g and early 4g situation similarry like yelly were between 2g to early 3g. Until you get first g5 warships yelly is good but then factionships start to rule.

Scopely really need to reduce the repair costs of G4s to make more players use the ships

Don’t totally agree with your comment on hijacked ships. I use my D3 frequently for armadas which works pretty nice. I’m lvl37 and use it also to help lower lvl player in their armadas . And it’s pretty neet to crack bases with the augment crew and more or less cheap to repair. I guess I will use it up to lvl 39 b4 I put it into the museum. Also your tip to hit farming Franklins sucks. This is a no no from my pov. BB’s fall into the same category. You should respect players who grind to push their boats forward as there are more than enough opportunities to loot other stuff.

What about lvl 37? Dailies

600 credits a day from nanoprobes with research and maxed vidar

Mining is literterally the easiest, most passive thing you can do in the game. Set out 3 Horizons on 60 k nodes and go to work. Dailies done. You'd have to be an idiot to constantly be whining about the games easiest element.

For new arc! Again scopely DOES NOT GET IT. Too much time to spend on this game!!! My msg to scopely. There is seriously something wrong with your developers. Seriously wrong. Rise of the sarcopohus event requires 191.19k pts to complete at my level. This equal to about 105 kills assuming i hit lvl 36s. Scopely already acknowledged that the life- game time balance is mismatched you guys especially told us you will better balance time spent on this game versus real life yet you create these ridiculous events that requires to kill 105 red dots kills to finish an event . why are you making this game more like work then play?!?!?!? Im mean wth. Im so angry with u guys. Soooooo angry
