The front is lowered because it is raked to be lower in the front, it's for towing and hauling reasons. If you plan on hauling heavy loads or doing heavy towing, the back height under load will match the front height. Nice installation btw. the install looks..

Was this installed with the spare tire equipped? Or does it not make a huge difference?

No, I did not use the spare tire. It does not make a huge difference, only noticeable to someone really looking for it. Does make the truck look nicer though.

I got a 2018 premier Tahoe I want this set up but I think mine has that magnetic ride and idk if the leveling kit will effect that system

Javi M, Suspension Maxx does make a leveling kit with the option for the magnetic ride system. Have you looked into that? I’m sure it would be compatible with your vehicle.

@@javim9621 With the suspension maxx kit there is no need to do any reprogramming. I have a 2019 Tahoe Premier with magnetic ride control and the suspension Maxx with no issues. Rides like it did before the level kit.

Will the lift have any impact on the ball joints?

Did you get the alignment done using the specs provided on the Suspension Maxx installation instructions? How does it ride?

I did not get the alignment done yet. Probably should right? It rides great. Just like it did before the Lift. No difference.

@@bvisbuilds Thanks for the reply. How many miles have you put on since the lift? I would expect some uneven tire wear without the alignment. I just ordered this kit and the alignment specs are the same for the 1.5 inch or the 2.5 inch and anywhere in between. I'm going to send a message to Suspension Maxx to find out how all the specs can be the same over the full range of lift heights. BTW, great video. Good to see non-mechanics taking on these projects.

@@Scrappydoo6628 thanks for the compliment. I appreciate it. We haven’t put too many miles on since the lift. Maybe 300 or 400. Let me know how you make out doing yours.!

@@bvisbuilds Hi - I installed my kit last weekend and decided to try it with just the 1.5 inch lift. It turns out that gets me very close to level. Perfect for what I wanted to do. I brought it to a local shop that specializes in lifted/lowered trucks for an alignment and it drives like it did before the lift. Thanks again for posting the video. It definitely helped me make my decision.
