338 Lapua Magnum is NOT better at penetrating armor than M1 AP rounds. I have tested it. 30-06 AP is some of the most difficult bullets to stop. You can even load that AP bullet into some of the big 300 magnums. I would love to test that RMA armor against 300 RUM AP.
