I don’t get what people are thinking in regards to walking along or across tracks when train’s are approaching. I’ve been a light & heavy wrecker operator for 42 years and have actually been hooked to vehicles when high speed trains passed, my own younger brother thought he’d get one off tracks before impact, while he jerked at it and paused to rev it up I disconnected the cable, when he went for it I grabbed the girl owner and flung off just as my brother cleared tracks train exploded car into nothing, train was doing 72 mph, I was passing in night and saw him turned around to do that, it was a pretty heavy medium wrecker so cable would not have broke , he’d a been jerked into train along with girl, I could tell you stories of those tracks gown the road from our home impound yard.

Damn those trains are way longer than any passenger trains here in the the UK.

I'd be scared to death to hear that horn if I was crossing that intersection, but in all due fairness, the locals seem to have a good idea of how much time they need to cross and aren't doing anything stupid.

Loco pilots from passenger trains were warning public by using loud horn before passing gate for protection.

It's slowly changing, but it's true, overall we lack a culture of valuing a clean environment. It isn't like this in richer or protected neighbourhoods, and the country side too.

@@MG-uz5mr There's a fairly simple process (I understand) to turn plastic into bricks. You just have to sort it by type, shred it, and melt it by correct temperature. It would give incentive to pick up the trash if they can make stuff out of it.

Fast, frequent, long passenger trains--18, 22, 24 cars--and judging from all the faces in the car windows, heavily patronized! Indian Railways are to India what the subway is to New York City--indispensable. The country would simply congeal without them.

There are 100% manned, automated, Underpass or over pass crossings. Automated is also very normal. Present Govt removed every unmanned crossing. But people always find their way. Especially bikers.

The frequency of trains and speed are a danger to the public who need to get across the tracks. The government needs to consider an underpass for pedestrian safety.

If your focus is on level crossings, then you should have shared the crossing gate locations with us. We were really interested to know the names and locations where these crossings are instead of the train names which obviously we watch in all other videos.

Unfortunately India has 100,000 km of track length, so fencing all of it would be hard and expensive.

Take notice east midland trains, lner and all you other rail operators put the carriages on to the loco and stop people standing on top of each other

Many of these videos appear to be from stations in Tamil Nadu. In the 1st video, the train was an express connecting between Jharkand and Tamil Nadu, with Egmore station (in Chennai city) and Tambaram station in Tamil Nadu. It doesn't appear to be a city, so I'd guess it's between Tambaram and Egmore Why do you ask?
