Thanks again for showing these battles. I was really pleasantly surprised by Tangrowth. It does surprisingly well into Dirge in even shields as I found out in later matches.

The doctor found a growth.

So the last update added animations for some moves like Brave Bird, but did it also mess up others? It looked like Liquidation has no animation here.

i see it too. moves like dragon claw and the elemental punches have visual animations

So many grass types neglected in this format, and Tangrowth truly shines with its bulk and coverage moveset. On the latter note, I wonder how Tsareena would fare with Triple Axel.

Tangrowth is a top shiny, it fits and looks appropriately good instead of random color

But ... is there a reason to run tang over a lvl 50 venisaur you already have? Or chesnaught for that matter

I feel like it’s better stats overall (higher bulk than most grass and better attack than chesnaught e.g) + coverage maybe? Grass + rock is genuinely terrific coverage outside of pure steel types and niche defensive pairings (grass/fighting, dragon/fighting, etc). Kommo-O and Chesnaught do exist, but aren’t common clearly.

I think niantic should add timer on those Pokemon those were switched but not lock the third Pokemon untill we will switch it and the both remaining Pokemons time should be separate from the time they switch in the battle or being benched

You are correct. However I hadn’t been able to land a power whip on a Gyarados and wanted to see how much damage it did. Still don’t know.

Will level 51 100% IV smack down shadow tyranitar get a chance on the playing field?

Also, ironically it beats Feraligatr in even shields lol. And with a 1 shield advantage, beats Excadrill on even energy

I run this in my great league battles, I have a shadow one I well say magical leaf is beating vine whip
