Jaydee basses were without doubt for me the instrument I wanted more than anything when I was a teenager. Never owned one, but I got kicked out of a music shop in Brighton once for slapping a Mark King signature edition, it was amazing to play, so much so they asked me to leave. Shame to hear of this fine Luthier's passing. Also lovely to see Mark use them again recently after so many years using Status.

I'm just now hearing of John Diggins passing,.......and like any Jaydee bass owner. I'm just stunned in silence. I hope Jaydee Guitars won't close shop like Status did.....I hope that the sons can continue on John's Legacy.

@@JBass42 Yes, it is very sad. One thing I can say for sure. John's Jaydee basses sound is the sound I love the most in basses.

I dreamt of John diggins on the nyt he passed away ..how bizarre. I woke up and thought that was strange dreaming of jd only to find out he had died the same night....r.i.p jd
