Levan hasn't faced an inside puller like Genadi at all in Top 8. And Genadi doesn't even have the strongest hook or press in the world, by far. I remember a younger Genadi pulling Brzenk back in 2010/2011 area, John beat him pretty easily back then ... would've love to see him pull Genadi in 2015, although by that time John was around 50yrs old.. It's too bad but father time always wins in the end, no matter how strong u are in ur prime. Right now it's Levan's turn as the King and he may there for awhile. Denis had his reign for many years too... That's the best part of Arm Wrestling, there is always some new young phenom waiting in the wings to take over that Crown. Such an Amazing sport and it's FINALLY getting the global interest it deserves. Social media platforms have a ton to do with that and it's great for the sport.👍👍 Great video mate, these battles were legendary.

This was peak gennadi.2015-2016. from 2017 he started gaining weight and lost his endurance and stamina. Still good enough to beat devon.

Nope. Genadi already lost to Chaffee recently. He never won against any of the big names. Levan is just overrated by almost everyone, because he never had to face a good inside puller after Genadi in 2018. Almost nobody realizes that. He only ever faced toprollers in Top 8 who played right into his strengths.

@@stoneeh I wouldn't say he is overrated but he definitely isn't invincible as people made out him to be. Devon said he has seen Levan lose often when people block him with their structure/frame rather than pure muscle. Gennadi beat him in a hook and flop press using bones and ligaments more prominently. Sabin beat him by using kingsmove which also uses bones, tendons and ligaments more prominently. I think Micheal beats him if he hasn't learned how to deal with people who use their bone structure more.

Maybe Devon tries the same like in Ermes match but at the same time keeping his wrist. 2:18 blueprint , similar to Ermes. Yes, He is the king Dennis is trying to get back in his prime to pull him jerry has a flop press Ermes can get better Devon is getting stronger But in my opinion, levan will dominates this year, morozov is great but he will lost, jerry flop press is not enough if he is not strong enought dennis has to reach peak, and devon has to show he can beat vitaly, genadi, dave and ermes

I dont know why u guys are so fond of hyping this Levan dude? Can clearly see even with significant weight avantage here, he still have to suffer several losses to a much lighter, but more technical Genadi. If there is a ranking of pound-for-pound armwrestlers, Levan must be at the very bottom... lol. Still have certain respect for him though, he has determination and courages to risk his life to the top. And seems to be a nice dude in Larry videos.

He’s competing in open weight class so he can be as heavy as he wants. That’s like saying Thor Bjornsson/Brian Shaw is a bad strongman cause he wouldn’t be as good if he was 100 lbs lighter. Being big and using your size and strength to your advantage is part of the game. At the end of the day, Levan is no 1 in the world and probably the strongest to ever arm wrestle.

That said, his strength IS off the charts in context of the resistance movements he regularly performs. It's just that the technicalities of arm wrestling shine through whenever someone with more power elsewhere struggles against someone with less
