so one has advanced optics and the other has elite optics....way to clarify that

I have compared the freedom line to the vx 3hd in a store and saw absolutely no difference in brightness or clarity. The freedom scopes are good for the money.

I think the VX3HD has metal erector gears for more positive feel and repeatable dialing VS plastic in the Freedom line. I have been wrong before but this is what I have read.

Our MARK series have black rings as they are built for shooting and military uses. Only the VX series comes with gold rings.

I wish you just put a parallax knob on all of the vx3 line that is above 9 power.

You don't need a parallax knob. Just maintain the same cheek weld and head position, which should not change from shot to shot anyway.

@@andrewjohnson6907 well that would be great is all the rifle companies started making stocks like Kimber with a high cheek comb. But don’t see that happening. Add in the 90 degree bolt and objective and the scope height gets to high. Parallax knob makes it universal.
