It’s an interesting concept and I’m happy to see ranged play. I am a little concerned the terrain makes for an interesting start, but perhaps becomes “clumped” with hack and slash endings. If there’s a way to keep the whole grid and terrain relevant (portals?), then I could see this being really fun.

Hi! We do have terrain manipulation cards, with abilities to create portals and such! To handle clumping there is a lot of movement in combat, and ways to sneak around and move during early or end game to help capture agility of combat as much as the strategy. So even with cards like gluetrap, you always feel free to move around and try a different strategy if things go south on you during a match!

Fantastic; I could envision mages teleporting minions (both offensively and defensively) as a super fun tactic! Looking forward to the kickstarter!!

I’m glad to see more coverage about this game! There are so many other games like Grimpath that appeal to me, and hearing insight from content creators known for certain games means we get perspectives weighted with those backgrounds.

Happy to hear that! we're going to shoot for 2 expansion per year, that will have themes that synergize around each other - and other fun gameplay mechanics that add to the game! As for 1st edition release date we're shooting for the summer of 2024!

Oh yea! We have 5 spheres of influence to chose from - and highly encourage mix & matching to create your own decks, themes, and synergies with the metas and card types. With deckbuilding we want people telling their own stories, on the battlefield! ✊

Looks like a ton of fun! Definitely something at looks worth picking up for some casual gaming!!

So looking forward to playing this again! Got a taste at Gencon earlier last year.. is it February yet!?

Very cool, i always wondererd why more games didn't capitalize on a grid system with minis. Reminds me when i workshopped a PvE deck builder with a grid like this xP

Interesting...while this sound fun, I'm not sure who the target audience is. I think I would like playing the game but having cards and minis is just too much sometimes. Even Sorcery feels more like a board game. I'll probably try it out once the kickstarter launches, sometimes games surprise me.

I played for many hours with my partner who is not into tcgs and I have to say that the cards and minis are definitely not too much. In fact it feels much less cumbersome than Sorcery or Genesis because of the minis.

If it's something that looks like you might be into it - I think we will surprise you! We really wanted to overcome the barrier of entry to this type of game and get people onto the battlefield easily and quickly! Right now, with a playmat and a little pouch of mini's and cards I carry around, Im ready to wargame!

Lowkey wish you’d do more updates on games you’ve already covered than promote other games. Aside from FaB it feels like every other game you’ve promoted gets forgotten.

We're going to offer a starter set, that gives you a sort of boardgame like experience, but if you want to expand it, the game will be primarily available in TCG form, allowing you to buy some booster packs, premade decks, and find your favorite cards to build anytype of warband you can imagine! A bit hero's quest inspired, as much as it is d&d & mtg!

Oh no....A board game, TCG, and paintable mini's all wrapped up in one package?! This is horrible! Why would anyone in their right mind make this? I am going to waste so many hours panting and playing this.......I want this... Also did you mean Heroscape? Loved that board game as a kid and still have all my figures and board pieces in storage.
