Ending the video not with "dont forget to like and subscribe" but with "I appreciate you" has given me this warm feeling. Thank you, I appreciate you too.

I made something similar using glass vials and really tiny red D4s. There are all sorts of sizing options for physical "potions" and they all are awesome!

haha well I got this one on Craigslist for $300! The real trick is finding room for a D&D table. But who needs a dining table anyways?

@@powerwordspill Wow! Nice going man, that's a pretty sweet deal. And oh boy, don't I know it. I currently DM cross-legged on the floor of my sister's living room, but hey, we make it work haha
Don't soak the maps in water, soak them in tea. It gives a nice colour to the paper when it dries.

I used coffee and it turned out really good (and smells nice ^^')

You can also dab or soak in coffee or tea, then bake in the oven at a low temperature to dry them out. It will give a cool texture as the paper wrinkles and warps from being dried rapidly.

Soak the tea bag in rubbing alcohol. It dries faster and cancels the telltale smell of tea.

I once tried using soy sauce... it did not turn out the best
When I made cards I had the back be a generic pattern over the whole page. That way you dont need to line them up. You can still have different colour backs to represent different kinds of item.

I've been trying to download them but when printed, the icons (potions, sword, etc) doesn't show up?
Dude that intro was all kinds of epic
The potion is a fantastic idea. And that is a wonderful execution.
I really like these tips. They're just the right ratio of practical vs. high quality that I look for on D&D channels. So many go too far one way or the other.
Watabou just saved my life. Bless you! I (and my table) appreciate you too!
Back when I ran COC IRL (our campaign ended right before Covid hit), I loved handing my players the handouts for the scenarios I was running and watching them pour over it like detectives. I’ll have to use some of these for my planned IRL campaigns.
I just got my wife to try D&D with me for the first time as a Christmas gift. We're both new to it but I've been interested in trying for a long time. I've been watching videos to get ready and this is the first of yours that I've seen. I really appreciate the calm, peaceful and to-to-point presentation. I'll definitely be watching more, thanks!
You seem like a genuinely good and kind person. I appreciate you as well. 💜
Wow, content is amazing, right amount of comedy mixed with good and clear information. Underrated channel for sure, hope see you growing quick!

I agree, this is so valuable and just nice. :)
Man, maps, coins - standard stuff. But that potion with dice? Totally awesome, gotta make one too! Thanks!
Love the potion idea. Will be using that. In my campaign I had a secret order, that has a talisman of a unicorn head made of amethyst. So I printer off a model that matched, made a mold and made a resin version of the talisman using colored inks and gels, etc, and handed it to my players. They had to find a member of the order on some city docks and i had them RP trying to covertly flash this talisman at npcs until they found the right one. 😂

So cool! I'm really interested in trying some resin projects
I love this. Actually, I have tools and sealing wax, so to start my first Campaign I handed the players a hand written and wax sealed letter. I need to get myself a DM screen and other things moving forward, including making that potion stand cause that is amazing
Great content! Easy to replicate, even on a low budget, quick to the point without feeling rushed and with a good amount of comedy sprinkled around 😀 - You just earned yourself a new sub 😛
Wow. "DicePotion" is great idea. So simple but so cool. Subscribed.
I’m glad you mentioned Staples, lol. I work there in the print center and we can do a lot of neat stuff for you for D&D! I’ve produced my fair share for local games!
Man after the intro skit I instantly subscribed. Great to see some fun content alongside such good ideas. 🤘
That's a neat handlebar you have sir! Thank you for the links and ideas. My players really love props!
Holy shit the potion vials are actually next level, I'm totally stealing that idea 😄
The opening bit is incredibly funny. The content was excellent. The ending words snagged my sub!
Another take for the item cards. I use tcg clear sleeves instead of laminating. It saves time, cards can be re done if there is an error and Most importantly, if there is a cursed item I can print card and back seperately and have a "good" side to gove to Players and a "real" side with the curse to be swapped around
I've always seen the potion idea and not been sure of it but I think your design has sold me!
I have tons of blank white and beige playing cards as well as different index cards for items and spells. Now I bought stained paper for notes and stuff thanks to your suggestions.
I’ve only watched the intro and I’ve already subscribed… thank you for making authentic and entertaining content.
I'm glad this showed up on my recommended. Quick, fun, clear and useful. Sure going to check your other stuff.

The reveal at the beginning was amazing. First video of yours I've ever seen, and I hope I get more. Top quality humor right there! 😂
I'm DMing for kids and I'm so excited to make these props. It really makes the story come alive for them ❤
Several years ago MtG had a tournament where the gave out red and blue d4s I bought the extras from my local store and any store I came across in a 50 mile radius. I have about 80 red ones and 60 blue ones. I figured use the red for potions and blue for Magic Missile.
mate, I appreciate, your effort, your style, your ideas and just being you. Or multiple you's in some vid's lol. Thank you so much, I;m currently going through a painstaking process of developing a small card / board game of the campiagm I have adhoc'd form a one shot that has lasted 2 years, just to show my appreciation of their commitment to the game. This, and all you video's, are very inspring. Inreally do appreciate you mate! Top bloke!!

This is also the very first time I noticed the replay-ability of where vid's can be reviewed and I imagine its worth doing some more work on card manufacture wirh ideas of ease of home printing or maker-space printing if possible. Detail would help me in this instance. Hey, thanks for your time brother!
Only just found your channel, really great content. Simple concepts done well without trying to be overly dramatic or in a self-aggrandising way. Will definitely be stealing the potion dice in a flask / tube idea. Thanks!
I love how to-the-point this video is, although, I would have loved to see a brief tutorial for each of the DIY items :)
Love you video! Great job! The potions and map are the first thing I am adding to my campaign!
0:35 ok this is SO funny! Like way better than several of a 'guy dressed slightly differently playing D&D with himself' videos I've seen on KZread. Also this is my first of your videos
super under rated channel, love your ideas! ive taken lots of inspiration from your videos to put in my homebrew campaign and its high time that my plagiarism of your ideas gets called out, you deserve way more subs!!
bro thank you for sharing with us this much! We appreciate you as well. Keep on with the great work
The potion stand is dope
Little something to boost those potion vials. A bit of red tinted resin in the bottom will both make them sit in the holder a bit better and offer them a bit more weight. Doing so also fills a bit of the visual space when they are sitting on the table.
just stumbled across this channel today... your production value is incredible!
gem of a channel recommended to me, easy sub earned, looking forward to more videos
Love this video, really helps the table come alive!
After watching two videos I am so impressed with your creativity in your videos I can only imagine having you as a dm. Subscribed!

I like the coin ideas! Honestly I’d like to see more content like this- your production quality is super nice and I dig what you’ve got going on here. Subscribing my guy 🫡
As a forever DM/GM who does props as well this is a great resource.
These tips are SO GOOD and bring more life to the table! Loved it Thank you for sharing and I appreciate you too :)
Fantastic video, excited to be able to subscribe. Definitely looking forward to following along your content journey!

First time I've watched a video and subbed before the end of the first 60min.
I've, recently, found it's rather easy to find a laser cutter/etcher that's either free to use or cheap. One of the coolest props that I've used at the table was a 2'x2' leather map of the area the campaign was in. It was a thing that was always available on the table for two and a half years there and is now framed on the wall... It wasn't an extremely detailed map of the type you'd think with things like the big, detailed sword coast one or similar, it's a more rustic looking one with roughed up edges and some wear from the time used, and looks like something you might find in a world and one that would be of use in a more rugged region where there's a lot of things that might destroy a paper or similar map.

aged paper is also super easy to make with instant coffee, just dip your paper into cold coffe (the effect will get stronger the longer you leave it soak)
Great video, thanks for posting. Glad to find it and to subscribe.
Such a good video!!!!
Good stuff, man. Thanks 👍

hellll yeah. that skit was great too

Great ideas! The best aged paper can be done with just coffee too!
New favorite dnd channel. The content is almost as good as the mustache
Good ideas and good video production.
I appreciate you at the end made me feel like i was a kid abandoned by my father and this guy adopted me despite...i was never abandoned xd
Dude. Liked, subscribed. Thanks!
Watabou mentioned huge W
Oh man! So I already had the test tubes because *cough* I may or may not have had air plants... that... died... time to be REPURPOSED! I've been tempted to design Magic Item Cards for the longest time so this is definitely gonna happen now. Thanks for the push! I appreciate YOU sir! Big Love from Scotland!

That intro alone made me subscribe. It's my kind of humor! 😜
When I watched the intro joke I thought the moustache was a prop, things got mighty fine shape
Brilliant intro! Brings new meaning to playing with yourself as well. 🤣
That intro got me good. subbed 😏👍
Loved the video, and your style. A more relaxed delivery is so much better to listen to than the faked enthusiasm "KZreadr Voice" most creators put on. Keep it comin'.
Okay, but the sketch in the beginning is an actually good idea to pull off for a campaign...
These are great! I have the party roll a D100 for Treasure, if it is high, they get more. If it is lower, they get less. If they roll really high, I already have my hand in my bag and toss a bag of chocolate gold coins into the air and it lands on the table. Everyone loves this. Extra loot + thematic snacks.
