I just started fishing two years ago and unfortunately have many more skunk days than I care to admit. I have no boat or kayak and fish from land or wade fish. I have to say it makes me feel like less of a skunk when I hear you say you couldn’t get the pompano to bite even though you could see them there. Thanks for keeping it real!

When is snook season these days? I want to charter a trip with you. There’s gotta be something along for legal take home snook and mangrove snapper. And I miss living in South Florida, and been gone for nine years.

Amazing what you had to go through for that jack. Bet your line was really nicked up but at least you got your lure back. I'm surprised your line is holding together for more fish.

You might need to try using that mullet swimbait on a heavier action rod so you can get a harder hookset with the thicker hook they come with

I am looking into zman Hercules swimbaits.they appear to have different hooks than what you were using. What you were using under its description says it has good hookups or something along those lines. It looks like it does not. Thanks for the video..

Rich, those hooks suck! I’ve seen those skinny wire-like hooks on a lot of stuff, you land only a fraction of what you hook. Change it out!

It’s an advanced technique you can do when you know by feel the breaking strength of your line. It’s not a bad habit at all.
