Lets Make A Deal - Australias Funniest People - Vince Sorrenti & Bretto

Ғылым және технология

Lets Make a Deal hosted by Vince Sorrenti many years ago. Sorry about the quality, it was the best we could get it. Stay Tuned, as another show is after called Australia Funniest People. Yes, how did Bretto get on that ?????

Let's Make a Deal is based off the American show of the same name. It originally debuted in NBC daytime in late December 1963, hosted by co-creator Monty Hall. Thanks to its success, a weekly primetime version aired from May-September 1967. The show would move to ABC daytime in late December 1968. They would run a primetime version of their own from February 1969-August 1971. A weekly syndicated show debuted in September 1971. The daytime version would run until July 1976. The syndicated show would move from Los Angeles to Las Vegas in September of that year, and would end in September 1977. A new daily syndicated show, also with Monty Hall, debuted in September 1980, originating from Vancouver, Canada. That would only last until September 1981. Hall would return with a new syndicated show in September 1984, returning to Los Angeles. That would run until September 1986. A new NBC daytime version from Orlando, Florida, debuted in NBC daytime in July 1990 with new host Bob Hilton. Hall would replace him by October, and would remain until its cancellation in January 1991. In 2003, a weekly primetime version aired with Billy Bush hosting from Los Angeles, but only three of the five episodes produced actually aired. A new version debuted in CBS daytime from Las Vegas in October 2009 with host Wayne Brady. The show moved to Los Angeles in September 2010, and has originated from there since.

Let's Make a Deal being "Australia's Richest Game Show"--- heh! That honor clearly belongs to $ale of the Century.

It's kind of shocking to try and give away an expensive car like that, and then the Big Deal is less than a third of the price of the car. The American versions have never been that extreme.

17:15 - "Brad? What planet are you from, Brad?" Um...pretty sure that's Pinhead from the "Hellraiser" series. Good job knowing pop culture there, Vince.

21:33 - there it is! The Big Dealer himself, Monty Hall credited. He is still kickin' at 95 years old! He had just completed the 1990 version - that is where the your 1991 set is based from. This is kind of neat for us Americans to see!

I would've thought Dick Clark Productions would've gotten involved with this one, considering the set and logo look just like the 1990 version.
