Lets get this 106 Rallye back on the road!

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

In this video I introduce another small project.
This is a Peugeot 106 Rallye 1.3 ph1 And its one of the coolest small hatchbacks that I know of.
The little 1.3 produces 100hp at a screaming 7200rpm- Its light weight and hard setup makes it a ton of fun on small roads.
This car has been of the road for several years, and its time to get it back into action!

Just discovered your channel, love the 106 content 👌🤙 own a few myself, Gti6, quicksilver and a couple of s1 special editions!!, one of which got delivered other day, one of the all time great Handing chassis, who needs a modern hot hatch when there’s gems like these!! Look forward to more French hatch content.

Yea it was a proud moment of my garage life when those two where in the garage... A fun trivia is that they are still standing together! The owner of the S1 bought my R5gtt !

Fuel pump is meant to work like that, when you tapped right at the cars ecu maybe that happened because underneath it, fuel's pump relay is located

  • @SeasideGarage

That makes sense... but why does the pump continue to run until I tap the ecu? its only sometimes and it always stops with a tap.... The relay must be sticking...

@@SeasideGarage wow you couldn't tell but it looks fun to drive,my friend bought a standard 106 and 3 days later the rear axles or something collapsed on him,it took us 4 days to get it back on the road but well worth it as they are pretty good cars.just wondering is that a common problem on the 106?

@@darrenashworth7638 its very fun to drive! Its pretty common for many french cars to have issues with the rear axle... Its a pretty good design really, but when it gets old, or water gets to the bearing- they go bad..
