Hey mama❤️, please read Malachi 3:8-10. This is a scripture that speaks about tithing. There’s quite a lot of stories that speak about us giving our 10% to the Lord. Tithing is not really about the church but it’s about honouring God and being able to trust Him with your finances, which later also is a kind of practice for other areas of your life. It can also be seen as a practice of self-control (which is a fruit of the spirit). There’s quite a lot to unpack when it comes to tithing - watching sermons about it can help understand it better. Don’t do it with the intention of wanting to see where the money goes but do it with the intention of trusting God and knowing that just because you don’t see, it does not mean that it’s being misused.
