Hi Xoli, hope you’re doing well. Just a quick note on the anger portion of this video. Getting angry is not a sin. It is a natural human emotion, that even Jesus faced. Example: when he found people selling their wares outside the temple in John 2, he got angry and chased them from there with a whip he had made. Back to your struggle with anger though, hopefully this could help. God says; “Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger,” ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭4‬:‭26‬ We can get angry but we have to be mindful not to sin against others when we are angry. Things like insulting someone, or swearing or reacting in violence, or even hating someone in your heart because they made you angry. For me personally, I struggle with keeping a grudge and replaying certain conversations over and over again where I feel wronged. Or how I stand in the mirror and say all the things I should have said in an argument like a mad person because I’m still big mad. 😂 These are all ways we could sin while angry. But then also, when you get angry with someone, the Bible says don’t let the Sun go down on your anger, meaning talk it out before it festers and leads to more sin and stuff. I don’t know if that helps but I hope it does.

This makes so much sense, there are multiple times when the bible touches on the anger aspect of life because as you said it's a human emotion. I love how God knows the nature of human beings and has His writings for us to reflect back when we feel like there's nowhere we can turn to but most importantly to constantly meditate on His word to see His teachings in our daily lives. There's also the book of James: 1:19-20 speaking on how we should be "quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to anger" because human anger does not produce the righteousness God desires. With my journey towards emotional intelligence, I always have this scripture in mind and see improvement from before. Still, I also do get tested in environments that are the number 1 factor that led me towards wanting to become of nature to what God desires and find myself "relapsing😂" and start as Xoli has mentioned feeling guilty because I know God does not want that and I also don't want that for myself. In instances where I have an altercation, I also do replay the events that had then occurred and find that I am constantly manifesting the negativity and aftermath of it. Which in most cases leaves me in no mood to even have interaction with people who had nothing to do with it to begin with. I find that as someone who's kept to themselves, ongasukelani I know ukuthi okunye are tests because the devil sees the work I am putting into becoming an individual who has a close relationship with their Father he wants to set you back, though I do not like giving him credit over my life it has to be said. Again too, as a child of God, He will too test our resilience and faith in things that we struggle with the most, discerning between the two is important.

I am 22 and I always thought that living my life peacefully , abstaining and just giving my life to Christ seemed boring to others up until I realized now that most people grow to choose the life I have been living since a younger age.I am happy that you are inspiring young ladies to live this life as a Christian and showing them that there is nothing wrong with being modest.You are amazing ❤

As christians we dont have to overthink everything. The more we feed the holy spirit in us the more we lose interest in the wordly things. Loved this. God is so kind, the way he changes our desires once we become his children is so beautiful. We have affections for new things and it reminds me of the Psalm that says “Delight in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart”. The more time you spend with the God is the more you desire things that please him and you desire sin less. This walk is beautiful man, it’s never about perfection, but about sanctification. And we will always need God to live a godly life, for us long as we are in this side of heaven. I also became more modest when i gave my life to Christ, i stopped watching certain things and listening to some music. It’s a process that the Holy spirit takes us through everyday till the day that we die. Thank you for sharing your journey with us. ❤️

I've also recently invited God in my life & I must say these steps have been easy & most times I didn't even realize I was doing it. I subconsciously removed myself from energies that didn't align with my journey & I couldn't be happier. I never believed that happiness could just come from nowhere, I used to look for it from the wrong people & things & that's why I've always been so unfulfilled. But now I'm genuinely happy without even trying because I've chosen to walk with him. I wish you all the best in your journey

Read the book of proverbs, it helped me with my anger and self control, I was never the same after reading the book of proverbs, it helped me with emotional intelligence. ❤️

Pray about the anger babe ❤❤ ask God to replace anger with peace , calmness and love

Every bad trait we have is a spirit so inorder for us to break free we need to sow a seed...if you want to break free from the alter of anger you sow a seed ( i.e put an offering and pray over that offering after that you need to decree and declare that you are free from strongholds of anger everyday. I did that with my finances last month and im seeing so much change

I like the fact that you said you are not perfect. It doesn’t mean when you’ve given your life to Christ, you’re now this PERFECT human being. We were born into sin and we will constantly be sinners in the eye of Christ, what we need to do is constantly ask for forgiveness and be in connection with him ❤️
