In this episode of Flow State, I take Leticia Bufoni rock climbing for her first time at Stoney Point. Leticia is afraid of heights and we asked her to boulder a 20-30' project without a rope! My heart was pounding when she got stuck near the top 😱
Leticia is a professional street skateboarder and five-time X Games Gold medalist currently training for the 2021 Summer Olympics in Tokyo.
What is Flow State? An optimal state of consciousness where we feel and perform our best while being completely immersed in an activity. It’s the feeling I live for and I find it most when I am outdoors-whether in an activity or even a meaningful conversation.
In this series, I take athletes and celebrities on adventures in and around Los Angeles, CA. By pushing them outside their comfort zone, I hope to get to know more about my guests, their drives and passions, and ultimately, more about myself. Along the way, we will pull back the curtain on Los Angeles to reveal its hidden outdoor gems and communities.

I used to rock climb in gyms occasionally when I was between the ages of 12 and 16. I think I was pretty good, and now I really miss it! Once the gyms are back open I want to try out again.

Rock climbing is something I’m so scared to do, but I’m signing up for a few sessions at the local rock climbing gym to get it started!! Conquer my fear of heights!
