Let THIS Lead the Downswing in Golf

Спорт

The notion of keeping the head still in the golf swing is (at best) out dated now but at worst becomes doctrine! The trouble is if you inhibit movement anywhere else in the swing, it effects everything else at least in some capacity. We worked with Phil's lead shoulder as a cue to assist the sequence in what was a fantastic session.
As always, a huge thanks to Phil for letting us share his lesson experience with you guys.

It's revolutionary what you are teaching here Marcus. Truly Unique! Nobody else is teaching anything like it. When you start leaning into the ball like that and start striking the irons correctly it really is a lightbulb moment 💡It's incredible how far left you really need to go especially as I've been "living" as you say, on my right side my entire golfing life. Thanks for all your hard work. 😎.

Why did I just find this. I went out the past 3 days and shot 78-79-77 from the tips. Ball striking was phenomenal just couldn’t putt. Took away from the hit at the ball to get left and don’t twist from the top thank you so much.

My coach has recently starting teaching me the basics of these movements (no balance pads and the like) and what a difference it has made to my strike. I'm also now swinging easy but still gained speed. Game changing!

Very good Marcus. This is exactly where I used to be. By loading on the left (front leg) side definitely helps. The pros do it. I picked this up a year or so ago. You explain and show how to implement much better than most. It is a weird feeling at first, for sure.
