This song was always sung in our church from childhood and it has remained close to my heart as without God as a partner there can be no peace which begins with us having a personal relationship with God

I love this song, and I enjoyed your video greatly. Thank you for sharing this beauty. I humbly submit a correction however, Vince Gill covered this song but "Let There Be Peace on Earth" is a song by Jill Jackson Miller and Sy Miller written in 1955. I remember singing it in school in the early 70's. Thank you again for sharing such beauty and such a wonderful message. Cheers!

Peace is the message that the "Prince of Peace" brought to earth. Along with His peace came love, compassion, a humble heart, and eternal life through His shed blood on the cross. Satan has other plans. We, through God's grace and Holy Spirit have the power within us to thwart this diabolical monster, who only spreads hatred , wrath and murder. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR POSTING THIS!! This is the version we sang while i was in my high school's concert choir and was reminded of today. I found other version with more PC lyrics that I find rather off-putting. Yet if that works for them God's will be done in this and all things., I say. Love is the answer... quite literally. we must learn to love and help one another as we love ourselves and this starts by loving God with all of our strength of body, mind and spirit. But I digress. This version of the song is just perfect though! So this is the version I will now return to again and again to play and sing along to often in the future. Again, thank you so much!.
