She was actually my very first concert back in 1997 she opened for the late great Tina Turner and they were BOTH AMAZING ❤💯 I've seen Cyndi live 4 times and one of the other times she opened for Cher! I can't WAIT to see this documentary ❤💙

Cyndi, Thank you for this documentary. You were all over my TV screen when “She’s So Unusual” came out. My dearly departed mother loved your voice. Whenever your video Girls Just Wanna Have Fun came on MTV, my mother would dance around and our dog Prince would hop up and down alongside her barking. Prince was singing and dancing to your song too. Thanks for making the world a better place by sharing your talents with the world.

So happy that people will get to hear your story. I know it took a while, but the world just wasn't ready. Then the world shifted just enough and you were able to break through and become one of the defining artists of the 80s. And I know you're still going strong. I dreamed of going to a True Colors show because you included my favorite group if all time, erasure, but I was never able to make it happen. I applaud and respect everything you've done and do for women's causes and the LGBTQ+ community. You are an icon, a legend and an angel on earth. Look forward to learning about your amazing journey and life. You are and will always be a queen, albeit with her crown a bit askew on top of brightly colored locks. ✌❤🌈

I saw it at a film festival last fall, and I agree. Everyone should see it on the big screen with a theater full of Cyndi fans. It was magic.

Cyndi Lauper really had one of the best voices around, she could sing circles around those who succeeded better. Miss you cyn, look forward to this documentary!

I've always loved Cyndi Lauper and have a number of her songs in my own personal soundtrack. My youngest nephew shares a birthday with her- June 22- and has been lulled to sleep by "Time After Time", "All Through The Night" and "True Colours."

I love Cyndi Lauper so much. She is so powerful, so talented, so brave. Thanks to her for unforgettable songs and all her fights for the LBTQ+-rights.

Cyndi will be 71 in June (2024) -- she looks fabulous! As someone who loves music but alas was not blessed with talent, I enjoy music documentaries that show the creative process. Looking forward to this.

Just got tickets to see her live in Chicago! Can't wait!

There are so many great tracks that aren't famous or as well known : What a Thrill, Eventually, Hole in my Heart, Heading for the Moon, Someone Like Me, I Don't Want To Be Your Friend... She was and still is the icon for people who didn't necessarily fit in, or felt like outcasts. If you weren't there to witness her level of stardom in the 80s, you couldn't understand.. she basically made it okay to be outside the box!
