On the other hand, I could possibly forget about them because of I didn't use them for ages, maybe it's so... What I really know firmly and use it are "call it a day" and "cut corners". The rest of idioms are new for me in fact, imagine??!😳😳😳 Anyhow, I'm delighted to get such an awesome chance to remember or even learn new vocabulary for me, it's exactly what I really need and try to perform every single day! Yes, I was once thrown into the deep end when I was given an assignment at work that my colleague could not complete in a month, and they gave me only 4 days! But I did it. I fixed all bugs in the program code. It was a really steep leaning curve.

Hi Emma. Thanks for the video. It’s really great to learn these idioms :) just a quick question - when watching the video, I keep repeating after you, but it’s hard to memorise to come out of my mouth instantly when I have this situation. What would be the quickest way to absorb these? 🤔

To create the opportunity to practise in real conversations regularly with other people. The more you use English in context, the more the words stay in your mind. You can also try writing the words as you say them. At the end of the day, if you don’t use it, you lose it!

Hello dear teacher from Buenos Aires Argentina. Thanks for this lesson 😊 Writing about teaching English, I think you show your subscribers the ropes and no teacher is thrown in the deep end. We try to do everything by the book and don't want to cut corners. We also feel we sometimes make light work of teaching English.🌹😘💝
