The things he said about ashley if true, is something the fans deserve to know. we've all had drama and miscommunications with our friends. we've all said hurtful things we don't really mean. usually we can reflect and learn from our mistakes to heal our relationships and/or ourselves and become better people. unfortunately for you guys, your situation is online for thousands of people to consume, analyze and berate. unfortunate, but like everything, the drama will pass. hope its sooner than later so you all can move on in peace and learn from the experience to become better people.

Well, I feel that lack of communication among Elliot, Kelly and Ashley lead to misunderstandings and beef, if that's what u call it. Discussing stuff in person and posting it online is better than just doing it without any talk. Also, I'm not on anyone's side. I love them all. Just sad that they didn't end on a good note.

They were gonna upload this news on they're group ( combined channel) not on their individual channel. Again, I've had fights with ample people and the reason in mostly all cases was that we weren't either receptive about each other's thoughts or miscommunication.

His video wasn't even offensive LMAO. At least the guy didnt spent 38 mins bashing the two of them for a profit with a few "maybe we can be friends down the line" comments to protect himself. At face value Kelly went off the handle from Elliot's first video which was 9 mins of him talking which compromise a breakdown of him in the rain for like 2 mins, him talking about himself for like 3 mins, some old b-roll footage, and him barely saying much about why he moved. Clearly the comments got Kelly into his feelings and instead of being logical decided to make the video. Which tbh was just them bashing him as said with the few fake throw ins of him acting like he gives a shit about Elliot. Even Ashley made the effort to throw shade about AM in the video which btw is a question mark itself since she had instances of not treating AM well considering.

With this situation, Kelly and Ashley were getting a TON of hate and probably there was a lot of emotion and things that they should have said more properly. As they said it was hard to even get in contact with Elliot. And if someone were to say they HATED my partner I would be extremely upset. There was extreme miscommunication within the house but I’m glad they split and decided to go they’re separate ways

I wish you all of the best Elliot. As bystanders we(the fans) will never have the full detail of this disagreement, and they often say there are three sides to every story. However I know it can’t be easy to have a conflict of two- versus one ( which is what it is in this scenario). Stay strong, protect your mental peace and know that there are people out there routing for you xx

@@rozzark821 we can turn the argument around and say the same about kashley acting the role of victim. kashley handled it the wrong way posting 40 min video dumping on elliot nonstop plus ashley's mom dumping on elliot too. then there's elliot's 4 min video defending himself against these attacks. elliot is more private as a you tuber than kashley. he's not comfortable airing all the dirty laundry for 40 min from 2nd hand info lesser known you tubers just to get 1/2 to 1 million views. there's no talking it out ever. elliot just wants out of this toxic kashley circle and move on with his life at this point. elliot is more private than kashley. everyone got their 40 min or 4 min of videos in and needs to shut it and go their separate ways.

This is a situation between grown adults and I hope they can finish whatever they need to off camera.

Stay strong, Elliot! Friendships falling apart is rough. Cheering you on yo get through this :) I’m not “choosing sides” but just excited for all of you go re-find joy even if it means your friendships won’t be rekindled. A lot of your audience is young and still learning about life. They think talking will just “solve the problem”. Here to remind you that Friendships don’t always have to stay forever. They can end at that chapter and everyone will still be ok!

Most of my friends (and myself) had some sort of friendship/roommate drama in their early 20s. It’s a challenging time, and I’m so beyond grateful that we didn’t have the Internet following our every move as we navigated adulthood. It’s clear from my lens that everyone in the house made mistakes. You’re figuring out who you are as an adult, and it’s completely understandable that you will all take missteps in relationships, life, and business along the way. Growth can be wildly uncomfortable (especially with millions of people watching and commenting). Wishing you and the others a bright future, as you take these lessons learned with you. You’re beyond talented, Elliott, and I’m excited to watch this next chapter unfold!

I think there were different feelings and disagreements which leads to a blurred line of communication. It happens when you live with people. Its a normal thing. We loved this content house. But it didn’t work out. There were somethings that were said and done but at the end of the day its nothing too serious. Don’t overthink it. You live and you learn. One chapter ends and another one begins. All love and blessings to everyone!

I also think Elliot thought that UMH is gonna continue and new people were going to join, that's why it was shocking for him to hear that kashley are leaving too. At first I was siding with kashley on this but then I watched Elliot's last video about leaving UMH and realised the situation isn't as black and white as it seemed at first

I don't think it's black and white either - most relationship issues aren't. Even if his intention wasn't to hurt Ashley (whatever was said), he can still apologize for impact. Perhaps he's handling interpersonal stuff offline, but he brought interpersonal stuff into the public with his first video... Also clearly K&A can (and did) invite other ppl to live with them, but keeping the brand of UMH would've realistically been weird considering the terms the original 2 other members left on. So true!

Sure, in public on legal terms Elliot wanted proportional equity. What I gathered from Kelly’s video is that behind closed doors Elliot didn’t actually believe that. If Elliot quit ur moms house a month before lease ended then I understand there’s no agreement when to post but as friends it seems disrespectful to completely negate ur friends’ wishes for the ending of the house you guys put together.

Guess you missed the part when Elliot said, there wasnt any agreement to post in the same timeline and that he left a month before this all happened hence, his right to post his own video. @@mynameis11111 does it matter though. His feelings are valid, and he must hate them even more for airing their dirty laundry like that . I even unsubscribed from them cause why did they need to bring their drama online. We didn’t need to know their arguments. Some people say things in the heat of the moment and he was explicit when he said he started to resent his friends so he need to move out. I would resent friends like that as well.

But even then, wanting to keep a good relationship with him so continued to appear in videos with him. As well, teddy who is a business partner with elliot on a totally separate business venture has shared on his channel about parting ways due to difficult work culture. Keep fanboying all you want, but more people are speaking out.

​@@SteveJobIess The fact that Annmarie recanted her story doesn't help her case. It's one thing to be scared to come out, but it's another thing to take it back after it's put out there. And this whole "trying to be friendly" with the guy who supposedly is toxic makes no sense. Normal people do not do that. And Teddy parting ways doesn't mean that Elliot is to blame by any means. Co-founders separate all the time for various reasons. The fact that no one seems to even see Kelly and Ashley's surprise relationship as resulting in any sort of rift with ur mom's house leads me to question their thought processes. Workplace relationships are frowned upon for a reason. But everyone for some reason is championing this happy-go-lucky, everythings-gona-be-okay notion. It's plain and obvious that Kelly lacks deep understand of the situation and instead took offense to a reasonable concern. Now he's using Ashely as the scapegoat by making it seem like Elliot was attacking her.

Damn...this was kinda pathetic and a low effort attempt to have the last say in the situation without adding anything of value and it doesn't really change anything.

I've been following all of you guys since last year and I really enjoyed each and everyone's content. It's just sad things had to end in a bad way. I hope you guys eventually let things go and rekindle your friendship. 😓

what irks me is that everything he said in this video doesn’t at all match up w what kashley said in theirs but the fact that the entire friend group (excluding Elliot’s gf ofc) is living together now w them just further makes me believe kashley more. either way I’m beyond sad about this bc I’ve watched Elliot for years :( still think I’m gonna watch and support but it’ll be hard to see him the same idk

He expressed his discontent without attacking Kelly and Ashley. Things within the last 6 months had been snowballing (Annemarie leaving & followers of UMH tired of the oversaturated Kashley content.) although it was right for Kashley to explain their part (because of the comments they were getting), they literally painted Elliot to be the wrong one without Kashley not claiming a part of the responsibility to the downfall of their friendship and UMH.

Watched Kelly's Addressing the End (ATE) video & rewatched Elliot's I'm Leaving (IL) video. I still think Elliot did not throw shade at Kelly or Ashley. The mistake was made when Kelly posted "The Truth" (TT) video which then started this drama. It was excerbated when Kelly humiliated Elliot with the ATE video, I will be surprised if the friendship can be salvaged after the ATE video. It would have been better if Kelly gave Elliot time to heal & save the friendship. I am not looking at this from a business perspective, I am looking at this from a place of compassion for someone who isn't as lucky, as Kelly & Ashley, who was unable to deal & adapt to new situations as easily. I forget sometimes, but Elliot is just 22 and this is his first real job, so it is understandable that he struggles with this. Both Kelly & Ashley knew Elliot had been having a hard time processing all that has happened & is quite a sensitive person. You two have each other in this and should have been the bigger person & let time heal. Kelly & Elliot seemed to have a deep connection & joy together, sad it is lost over an over-reaction on Kelly's end when he responsed with his TT video. Again, I strongly believe there was nothing to response to, Elliot was just being soppy & confused about his life & future. All this either shows the egotistical & political side of Kashley or the lack of foresight & maturity at Kelly's end on how to handle this problem. Kelly's TT video & ATE video have bigger ramifications & damage as it was an expose video on Elliot. Elliot with his IL video & this video was not an expose and did not create any public humiliation on anyone like Kelly's ATE did. Kelly, please be the bigger person, talk to a more mature impartial person & do damage control.

💯💯💯 exactly! even if it was not his intention, kelly's videos are a big blow to the reputation of a guy he once considered (and confusingly, pretends to still consider) his bestfriend. and even if elliot's IL video did throw shade at kashley (arguably), at least he had the decorum to not mention names (and show people' faces and channels/platforms). that way, only UMH's true viewers wud've known who he was referring to in his video. if he was even throwing shade at all or intended to. heck, at this point, i'm just curious to know how things fare several months or a year from now at the new creator house kashley have put together. and also, how things are with kashley by then. wonder what they'll do with all their couple videos once or if they eventually break up. and what kelly's gonna do then and what his reflections on his past words, deeds, and decisions will be like.

it’s hard to be a bigger person when the other person isn’t answering your private texts to reach out and elliot’s video might not have seemed like a diss but they were on an agreement to post their vids at the same time to avoid backlash but elliot didn’t uphold said agreement exposing kelly amd ashley to loads of backlash

What Elliot did does not warrant a public humiliation like this. Not all friendships lasts, but when there is a fall out, we don't do an expose, it is called integrity. When Annemarie left, tongues started wagging too. That is the life of a public figure, people are always going to speculate. The way I see it, Kashley is thriving in a new house with roommates who were mutual friends with Elliot, that alone says enough about them being fine friends, but fearing backlash over Elliot's IL video, they over reacted. If I were their new roommates, I'll be very worried about stepping on their toes. KZreadrs are more vengeful & vicious than Hollywood celebrities when things turn sour, cos their livelihood is a numbers game.

From what I get after this video is that he wanted to do a video where they show him leaving ur moms house because he did not want to be a part of it much longer. But kelly and ashley did not want that. They wanted to keep it lighthearted and pretend that everything was fine which definitely wasn’t . The same thing happened when Annemarie left. But I guess elliot was not having any of that and he posted early. The video did not throw any shade towards kashley but that is what miscommunication does between people. If kashley really cared about elliot’s feeling like they claimed in their video, that video would not have been 40 mins long. Getting that personal was a low blow coming from them, they could have taken some accountability but all they did was blame Elliot, this is what happens when the power dynamic changes and its better ur moms house ended because eventually there would be two parties in that agreement kashley and elliot, when there should be three to have better decision making in place. I hope Elliot is fine❤

They wanted the situation to appear as if everything was cool and they're just moving on to the next great chapter of their lives, just keep doing what excites and all that stuff. Elliot wanted transparency and I salute him for that. I'm so glad he didn't go along with Kashley's fake narrative and posted his video first, acknowledging where they all went wrong with the house and the group. It's his right to share his truth to his audience. I think it's very selfish of Kashley to hinder him from doing that, throwing tantrums on the internet after things didn't go their way. The entitlement 🙄

Never do business with friends or family. All that will do is create tension. My parents taught me this when I started out, so I thought I’d share with others.

Notice that this video has a single shot unlike Kashley's video made up of multiple cuts, that shows clarity of thought and it only comes when you are telling the truth.

Ngl, Ive been with Elliot since the Day in the Life videos, but something just seems off man. No hate, but if Kelly and Ashley wanted to end the house altogether, what’s wrong with that? The fact that he doesn't want to address all the things he said about kelly and ashley just means its probably true.. very disappointed as a long time viewer tbh. I think if he made a video and talked about how he was feeling and why he said some things then maybe the viewers would understand... as for me, I don't think I can look at him the same anymore knowing he undermined a woman content creator due to jealousy and basically betrayed the trust of his best friend.

Hey, not going to argue, we never know what actually going through someone's life and between people so please don't just assume things just because you are curious about someone's life. It's probably true but I doesn't mean that it is true, definitively. We should all learn to respect people's privacy. Just because he's a public figure, doesn't mean his life is entertainment for you to bash him down and root for who you think is right. Also, people shit talk all the time and say things they dont mean out frustration and anger. It's an unfortunate situation, and people speculating are only adding fuel to fire and creating a toxic environment.

Honestly who cares if it is true. He is allowed to feel what he feels. Did you want him to speak his mind and list off all the reasons he dislikes her. Because he could but that would cause more drama and also probably make Ashley look bad. When people dislike friends it isn’t usually for no reason at all. Don’t judge him for having emotions and being thoughtful about not disclosing this to the internet.

Honestly I never found your "im leaving ur moms house" shading Kelly and Ashley. You obviously noticed you were resenting your bestfriends and you needed time for yourself and thats good. mental health is a real thing. I think what made this whole situation to be public was Kelly's clip of him reacting to you posting. This all could've been avoided publicly if Kelly didn't include that clip. Then Kelly then posts a video of him and Ashley addressing the 'ur moms house' and says something along the lines of "I just wish that it wouldn't have to come to posting this video and having to address it public" in the video. When really Kelly's clip was the one who caused all speculation and forced them to explain.

In the end its the "fans" who make up their own narrative about the situation based on their own opinion. In my comment im saying, since people were already making up assumptions, like it was kellys and Ashleys fault, Kelly shouldn't have posted that clip because it would then make it public. When its really just between Kelly, Ashley and elliot. But again I agree he has a right to defend himself.
