Couple of questions: 1) Any worry about working for a company that might end up eventually getting banned in the States? 2) Seems like you don't interact with your team in person very much - does your team ever get together for in person social events? Or does everyone just do their own thing? 3) Does the team ever get together to brainstorm ideas? Or are you basically just a worker bee?

1) there is always a worry, but my stance is that if we were to have been banned in the states if would've been in 2020, at this point I believe it is far too late. A sale to a large U.S. company is more probable in my opinion. 2) we do collaborate often since we come into the office on similar days, I just didn't show this on this particular day. we do often have social events, like team events and gatherings, so I think our team moral is great. 3) we have team meetings regularly and people are encouraged to brainstorm ideas on their own and then present them to the team at large, we definitely collaborate often as a company/team and aren't just working on our tasks heads down. hope this was helpful, best of luck man ♥️

Many people think being a software engineer is all peaches but the reality is that no matter what company you work for, you will put in extra hours, extra time if you want to get ahead. The amount of learning is unbelievable and it's always never enough. Because there will always be something else to learn, something new to implement. It truly is a grind and there is never an end in sight. Even a company with so called work/life culture still encourages learning always. It's great if you love to learn and don't want a repetitive job, it's tasking if learning a high volume of information in a short amount of time is too much for your brain to handle. However, eventually the constant learning does make you a pro and if you think about it, you get paid thousands of dollars just to learn. Can be a win/win situation for all parties involved if you think about it.
@armankhondker
10 ай бұрын
agreed, being a software engineer fundamentally is just about learning. If you can learn things quickly, then you will be an excellent software engineer. This is likely why we see the peak of developers while they are young and eager to learn, and less older folks in the industry as time progresses. I agree with your conclusion about it being a win/win for all parties, thats a great outlook to have.

Love the video man, this motivated me to follow my dream even though its vastly different. Wondering where you got that black hoodie. Looks like a nice fit. Keep it up brother.

As a junior dev and Chelsea fan I thought Chelsea games would be my stress relief…ended up with more stress 😂😂 but code and soccer after is basically my life now too, tuff vid!

+1 to this sentiment, ♥️
Very similar to mine but i work from home all day. Without experiencing the hybrid work like yours, I am definitely on thesame page with you that a lot of task gets done at home compared to getting to the office.
dope vid man

@@armankhondker on unrelated note, I'm a junior CS at TAMU and will be interning in Redmond this summer. I think you'll be a great person to contact for career advice and/or quick resume reviews as I actively search for an FTE position after grad.

nice man. Love to see the hard work someone puts in. Even though I don't work in tech, I work in healthcare, your video is motivating. So you usually work from 9AM till around 7-8 PM?
@armankhondker
Жыл бұрын
not at all, this was just a particularly busy day, usualy days are ~10am-6pm. Also, I took an hour break after dinner. I would say the hours are significantly better than healthcare from what I've been told by friends who work in that field and from my experience.
Great video, really liked getting a breakdown of your day. Very realistic and good editing, Arman! Just curious, do you regularly work that late. Seems like an awfully long day…

I don't regularly work that late! This was a especially packed day, plus I was staying late for a soccer game nearby and commuting to the office added a lot of time. wfh days hours are much more normal.
