This was such a great interview. Is this an interview? either way I do wish that all interviews everywhere were done like this. Great job all of you!

Allyson Long yeah? FUCK THAT GUY. English is not determined by him. Also, gif stands for 'Graphic interchange format' and I don't pronounce it JRAFFIC, but idk about you.
@allysonlong7114

Yeah, I agree English is not determined by him. However it is determined by the English dictionary, which lists both pronunciations as acceptable.
Grace's shirt is adorable.
meatballs, camp nowhere, addams family values, and some other ones I can't think of right now. fun summer camp movies.
HARTBIG
Your awesome Ashley! You tell him 👇👇👇
06:56 sooooooooo fab *in ashley's voice*
Grace is freaking hilarious
Gif stands for "Graphic Interchange Format" So the G sound should be the same as in graphics. It's not pronounced "Jraffics"

Ian O'Shea I'm sorry if this is news to you but your "beliefs" hold no impact on how a word is supposed to be pronounced, that privilege lies with the progenitor of the word itself, and indeed the democracy of the English Language. No one is criticising you for using a hard "g" for gif, but it is incredibly hypocritical for you to flip the table around and criticise the original pronunciation for being incorrect. The soft "g" pronunciation is one that exists in the English language (for example, genome and gerund; analogously, proper nouns such as Thomas and Thames are not pronounced with a voiceless dental fricative), it's not a new phoneme, is endorsed by the creator and all dictionaries alike, and sounds much better. So if anyone were in any position to complain about something as trivial as a slightly different pronunciation of an acronym, that position quite clearly does not belong to you.

Thanks for your opinion Isjaki, but before our sit down with Grace I had never even heard of Fan Fiction so pretty sure discomfort was not what I was feeling. :)
When does the movie come out
please do the mega beef bowl from person 4 and persona 4 golden
I have your cookbook
Put on your earphones! The sound is like in 3D. lol
Grace not admitting #HartbigIsReal IS VERY FRUSTRATING. #Hartbig
lolololol
grace stealing the outro ftw!
It's fact that Hartbig is unreal. If it was real, then Grace would tell it and there would be lots of new fans, but if she say that it's unreal, then she would loose some subscribers. So thats a logical explanation. She didn't denied, but she didn't confirmed, so technically she is not a liar.

itsmeaubrey I agree, i ship hartbig too, but it's just very nice and warm friendship, and I'm happy for it :) It's nice to watch. All I can say, that those two are playing and watching "crazy" shippers reaction. Just trolling :D

CHOOP CHOP if it was real, it doesn't mean she has to announce it for the viewers in order to have more views. Take Zalfie (zoella and alfie deyes) for example, from the start they didn't want their relationship to be outed. If Jim Chapman didn't outed them accidentally, I doubt that they'll even announce their relationship to the public. ;)
Put on your earphones! The sound seems like in 3D O.o
It kind of annoys me how Jimmy and Ashley seem embarrassed when the topic of fanfiction is raised. I mean, grow up. You're interviewing one of the sassiest (yet classiest) persons on the Internet. Also, you have an exclusive opportunity to get some details that her fans would love to hear, cause she does not talk about this subject that often. And instead of going for it, you just look like you want to hide under the table.

I'll reply to this personally on my own account - Fan Fiction is a facet of the internet that I do not condemn, nor do I necessary celebrate. As you may know, I'm a central part of VGHS and there is an amazing amount of fan support for the show. You would be remiss to think that I don't appreciate the fact that the show wouldn't even exist if it wasn't for the amazing fans and friends that contribute to our seasonal fundraising campaigns. There isn't enough I can say about my appreciation and awe at the support we receive from people all around the world. That being said, fan fiction can sometimes (for me) cross a line and a boundary that I don't necessary endorse. I applaud the enthusiasm and the effort and the risks that are being taken with fan fiction, but I cannot deny that it still fundamentally makes me feel for those that are made uncomfortable because of it. To me, the idea that this interview could be a source of "juicy" or "exclusive" details or otherwise unknown knowledge makes me wary. It certainly does not inspire any level of confidence. My goal with these sit down interviews is to have a nice relaxed time where guests can feel comfortable and have a good time espousing their thoughts and emotions. It's not a time for investigative journalism or exploitative questioning from me. I respect that if someone doesn't talk about a subject often, than I should realize that there may be reason for it. Shouldn't we respect that reason, as much as we respect the reasoning of anyone else in our immediate life? Why should we treat someone we don't know in person any different? Saying that someone should "grow up" is an entirely subjective type of demand. While you might believe that the action you prefer we take is one that is more "mature" (asking us to "grow up"), keep in mind that it does not take into account the actual feelings or reactions of the people you ask the behavior from. I pose questions because I don't like to state absolute answers. The idea of fandom and entitlement is a subject that has only emerged in the past several years as the online world has quickly evolved. However - wherever we do find ourselves now could change in the matter of months. This entire idea of fandom may disappear into the ether as quickly as anything else in history. But until then, I'd like to encourage a discussion rather than choose a side and stick with it.

Jimmy Wong I am continually disappointed by the fact that most people who get the chance to interview Grace Helbig fail to recognise that she is a part of this whole new cultural and social phenomenon. Clearly, you are well aware of the fact, it just wasn't the time or place to address the issue head-on. So I apologize if my reaction came across as personal abuse (as I did enjoy the interview).

Way to school them on the outro, Grace! You beautiful human :)
Middle camera is not focused.
I ate dirt before, yah lol Grace
Is it just me who was a bit disappointed about the lack of ships/fandom to come out of Camp Takota? As someone who is squeamish about rpf, I was kind of hoping Camp Takota would launch a train I could wholeheartedly jump aboard. But that hasn't really happened.
