I stay away from family that have said and done hurtful things to me, then when I don't come around, they seemed to be hurt but oh well. I think family feels as though they get some type of pass at what they do and say. You have to be selfish with your feelings. #selfpreservation

lady_tuffgong mine do the same thing. I used to give in and go be around them but im turning 26 this year and if its one thing I’ve learned is that you gotta keep negative people out of your life when you’re on your journeys. Family included unfortunately. Gotta love em and pray for them from a distance.

@@snoody032003 it's common for people to do feel this way because we have been conditioned to think/feel as though we have to deal with family in lieu of their toxic behavioral patterns. People gaslighting you is just a trick of the enemy so you have to hold firm to your feelings. Trust Your vibes and spirits of discernment and do what's necessary for self-care!

Alexis H. That’s the best part....keep them guessing. No one need to have that much access to your life. Some people is just nosey and up to no good and can’t stand that you are comfortable with you/your own company. I can truly enjoy my own company but I choose cautiously who I give my time and energy to....just be your true self and ignore the rest!

🍷 I’m an introvert and it really bothers me when people assume I’m stuck up to the point where my feelings are really hurt because that person has not taken the time to get to know me. My mind could be somewhere else and someone would say I’m being stuck up. ESPECIALLY around other women. When I’m around a new group of women I just a little bit of anxiety because I’m hoping they don’t think I’m being stuck up because I’m quiet. Introverts , we are very observant and great listeners.

I’ve been watching y’all now for about 8 years and counting. What I’ve always loved about you two, is that y’all always did y’all own thing and moved at y’all pase. I’ve also learned so many different things hair, beauty, body, decor, self love etc. my sister has this joke when I show her something I’ve learned she always be like “ who taught you that the glam twins”😂. When you ladies spoke of the things you don’t do or won’t do on your channel or going a different direction it’s called being “set apart”. A lot of your answers describes me. I’m an introvert and people do think I’m mean or stuck up but once they really get to know me I’m cool and down to earth and I do have meaningful conversations. However, I like being set apart in everything. I am my own person and I don’t need validation from people because I know who I am. I think when you get to the place where you don’t need validation you move strongly to the place of being set apart. You ladies are always classy and in a social media culture where ladies feel showing their butt in every picture is winning or necessary to gain respect and in most cases “a guy” you ladies don’t portray that. You always example class and I love that about y’all. We are the same people in a lot of ways. 🍷

Yes! I’ve had them too. Not nearly as heavy as regular box braids and just look more natural to me.
