Would love more detail on how to plant and how to maintain and be a successful peonies (especially itoh) owner.

I bought myself a itoh yellow last year, planted it and now following spring the plant is lush and beautiful but zero buds? Please advise? It is middle may , live in Missouri my traditional peonies are booming . Will these be later on or did I do something wrong? Thank you❤for the video

Thank you for such an informative and Lovely video. I really like peonies 🤗💖 Especially the fluffy Rosette shaped bloomers. I just purchased Peonies and I receive what looked like massive roots, i do pot gardening for the most part because the soil is just pure CLAY 😔 So....i am gonna plant them in ex-large containers, we're coming to the end of April, it's mostly suggested they be planted in fall or early Spring. What do you suggest i do with them? I dont think i should leave them in the state i received them. Also i read that they prefer slightly acidic soil, is it ok to plant them in a potting mix meant for Succulents or will an all-purpose mix be just as good? Thanks in advance for your reply! 🙏😊

If you planted bare root peonies expect nothing the first year. The second year you will get growth. Peonies are sleep, creep and leap perennials.

They need really good soil good drainage like a rose but the worst thing you could possibly do to a peonies is you bury the rhizome root too deep they get real pouty they won't do much if you plant them too deep they're like strawberries that way I plant mine like I plant irises like in the first inch to 2 in of soil just kind of place it and kind of press it into the dirt

It's never grow good
