let's talk Penelope Douglas *book breakdown guide*

I just wanted to talk about one of my favorite authors and make a little guide for her stand-alones, series, where to start, etc. because all of her books are A+ in my book. Thanks for watching :)

I’m new to Penelope Douglas. I have read Birthday Girl and am 75% of the way through Credence! Excited to read the Devil’s Night series. And really all of their books!

I'm just discovering Penelope Douglas. I've read three of her books and loved each one. Now I'm on a binge and can't get enough! Thanks for making this video. ❤

I would not have made it through the Covid lockdown period without Penelope's books. At the end of each book I really did feel like I'd lived vicariously through the characters in each one - and if that isn't a sign of good writing I don't know what is (plus I actually learned a thing or two along the way). The cancel-culture Karens who think she's 'problematic' because she writes dark and morally-ambiguous stuff can get bent. Anyway, thank you for the video 🙂

I liked this Penelope Douglas video. I have several of her books on my TBR, but I've never read any of them, so this gives me a good place to start.

Good video, and liked Arya (I’m a cat dad). As a man who reads splatter punk, horror, and nonfiction crime/horror, I was shocked I liked PD’s books. Maybe was a little embarrassed too. I got into her novels via Punk 57. I saw it in my friend’s house and mistakenly thought it was a book about punk rock. I had finished Disco’s Out Murders In by Frank The Shank, and was on a role with gritty punk (I knew a lot of the people in LMP, great blast of the bad past). The cover looked like some grimey and chaotic street punk rock lined the pages. I was waaaaaay off. Anyways, what began as me clowning my friend over what I thought was a sappy tear-jerker book ended with me reading the whole damn thing over the weekend….and wanting more PD! So now she clowns me because I’m the last person she’d think be into these type of books - As a kid I’ve seen GG Allin live and ran with Psycho Mike from ST when he was actually psycho. So yeah, but of a surprise. And know what? I can’t wait for PD’s next book. And as always, recommendations for real Punk Rock: -Major Accident -Sham 69 -Angry Samoans -The Macc Lads -Bad Brains -Rudimentary Peni Be safe out there everyone.

Hi, I know you don’t know me, my name is Naomi and I was scrolling on KZread and I saw that you like to read books and so do I! I’m doing a research paper comparing Kill Switch and Wuthering Heights on how although both books were written in different times they have a similar representation of toxic relationships. If it’s not too much too ask I was just wondering If you could read what I wrote and give your opinion on it because I can’t find anyone that can help me make my analysis better! Even if you can’t, that’s okay thank you anyways for taking your time to read my message!
