The current beauty of the place will be lost for sure - but then regulating how many people get to visit at a certain time I feel that will preserve Lahaul a bit more longer. Damn I thought it was some CGI clip from Lord of the Rings you put there in the middle! 😍😍

Well, that is a mesmerising place, thank you for sharing with us Ronnie. I can agree to the fact that no camera can do the justice of those mighty mountains. But you did a fantastic job of capturing those. Never ever have I seen anyone capturing those mighty mountains as you did. So, to attract the right kind of tourism, first of all, to strictly ban plastic use as much as possible for the visitors. I too agree with Sushmita Das on regulating limited people to visit for a limited time.

The only thing Indian KZread community was missing, was a true Filmmaker who could create magic. Time and again, Ronnie and Barty, you amaze me with such magical creations. I got to know about your channel via a colleague who recently joined The Vibe, and how you were leading the company back then. I wanted to start KZread since a year, and trust me there was lack of motivation thinking good quality content won’t work in India, and this beautiful online community that you build raised all my hopes and collectively all of you motivated me to go on and tell my own stories here. It’s been a few months and I’m happy with whatever I’ve created and I hope to collaborate with you soon. Is there any similarity in the dialects/languages spoken In Lahaul and Spiti, Or are they just put together just for administrative purpose? I find some Kulluvi influence in Lahual not much though but hardly anything to relate with those in Spiti. Would love to know your perspective though.

@@user-ze7ml6ec9m hi! So lahaul Spiti has many dialects. The dialects spoken in Spiti and some parts of lahaul are directly influenced from the Tibetan language hence they come under the Tibeto-burman family. There are two other unclassified dialects called sansi and chenali which are a mixture of Tibet burman and Sanskrit dialect (I speak chenali and we are researching extensively on this languages origin) Speaking of kulluvi influence many lahaulis who come out from lahaul to more developed places like kullu usually can speak the language because it's directly influenced by Sanskrit and is easier to understand. In all lahaulis can probably understand what lahaulis say but Spiti is more distant (even though Buddhist culture keeps the two districts together) Thank you for the question!

Also been following your videos from the past 2 weeks and watching all of them coz of the amazing voice you have also the cinematography and its story behind it. It's very close to Ali Zafar. Keep up the good work bruh.

II visited Lahaul in 2007 with friends....one of them Gabriele had a cheese factory in Manali and was looking for new cow milk suppliers there....we were 2 ladies 3 gents and 1 child and our presence sparked the curiosity of the local people and we even met the King of Lahaul.....the colours of the scenery was so beautiful they reminded me of Nicholas Roerich's paintings....and vivid still now their vegetable gardens with beehives for honey... 😍

Absorbing the place in such a manner that you are able to pull out the memories so vividly that you are able to revisit the place anytime you want despite being miles away.

This video makes me feel awesome. I never ever seen any vlogs like this before. I mean how beautifully you described all the moments in this. Yeah also the background music (folk music :-)) makes me mesmerizing, feels like more closer to mountains. However I'm also from a hilly and mountains state (Uttarakhand) but never got closer to these high Apex which I always miss from inside. But after watching this energetic vlog, my love to mountains is growing now and I believe one day I'll definitely live these moments with these beautiful ❤️ valleys and around the mountains. BTW, you're doing a great job and love to your village and your work. Waiting for next one...
