@@sydneygambrell5278 I think he does but I honestly think that he has some form of PTSD and Stockholm syndrome. Nina exploited him during an extremely vulnerable time and that gave her inappropriate power and control over him and he wasn’t mentally capable of having equal agency. Not just because he had amnesia but because Nina knew exactly who he was and that makes any relationship they want to have even now tainted and exploitive.

Diane killed it. I'm so happy she pointed out that just because Sonny was able to move on from the pain and lies Nina perpetuated doesn't mean he's her only victim. His children suffered for months and he just doesn't seem to truly grasp that concept.

@Derrick Fisher Jr. I don't think Scotty would ever be Sonny's lawyer. Remember Sonny was introduced running the Paradise Lounge. Giving drugs to Karen Wexler so she would strip at the club, and having an affair with Karen who was still a high school student. Scotty is Karen's dad. I don't think he would want to do that. Sonny is dating Nina's aunt - so if TPTB - don't do the Carly/Sonny retread times 6 -- and Sonny & Nina stay together -- It would be interesting to see the four of them on a double date to the Savoy. ;)

Nickolas suffered because of Carly's lies when she let him believe that Spencer aka John was Jax's son. Tony Jones suffered because of Carly's lies when Carly let him think Michael was his son and then shot him. Bobbie and Lucas suffered because of Tony and Carly's lies ... and their affair. Elizabeth suffered when Carly told everyone about Jake's true father --- even though Lucky, Jason, and Elizabeth had agreed that he would grow up thinking he was Lucky's boy. Don't cherry pick. Lots of people have suffered because of Carly and her lies.

@Derrick Fisher Jr. I must have missed the episodes when Carly has accepted any blame for anything. She justifies her every move and every horrid thing she has done in 20+ years. She never apologized to Aj or to Tony. She never apologized to Robin.

Diane went for the jugular and I’m here for it. Sonny wants to dismiss their pain because he’s over it and has feelings for Nina. He’s selfish.

I think Nina is a better person than Carly, but her fans will defend anything she has done including lying about Michael's paternity, sleeping with her mom's husband, faking her own death, etc. Even if those people have forgiven her ... Not with these shitty writers. This whole thing is an insult to the history of this show and its characters, all to stoke Maurice's ego.

This Sonny is the cold and callous one who only thinks of himself, I think the Mike in him disappeared except for his feelings for Nina. Also I hope this maybe leads into how Nina needs professional help. When Nina kidnapped Avery, she was having a mental breakdown and needed to be hospitalized because of the trauma of her mom putting her in a coma and stealing her baby(ies). NIna finds out she lost her (supposedly only) child before Nina was able to build a relationship with her and that she betrayed her in court. Nina needs a therapist to work through that trauma so that when she does have time with Wiley, she wont project her trauma and feelings on to an innocent boy.

She has a void in her heart that is the child she never had and she's trying to fill it with Wiley. Wiley is just a kid it's not his job to fill that void in Nina.

Soaps likes GH are based on Characters trauma. That's how we keep on watching. Nina had trauma based on what her mother did to her based on the old mighty dollar. How motherly. Carly dished out a lot of the trauma during her time on GH starting with when she first came to town. Her mother who was no prize herself got it fromCarly. She went after Bobby husband for one. Carly has a very ugly past. Luke Spencer never liked Carly and did not trust her. She was a piece of work. Carly has a lot of skeletons in her closet which can fill a graveyard. Can't wait for it to be revealed. Scotty knows it all. Can't wait for Michael to explain his past as well.

It would be really interesting if Sonny's is suffering some kind of breakdown and Nina is just the most obvious symptom. He has never sat down with his shrink to unpack losing his father, losing his memory, living another life, and developing feelings for someone who was instrumental in keeping his from his family. That's a lot of trauma in such a short period of time. Sonny having a breakdown would explain so much. Because love or hate this Sonny shaped creature, I think we can all agree that his actions make absolutely no sense in light of who we all have known him to be. *shurg* Just a thought.

I don't disagree with you about the misogyny of the writers. I too believe that Carly was more than capable of taking over for Sonny, she can be every bit as ruthless and practical. But she lacked the desire. Carly didn't want to be the boss. She knew that if she were boss that the families and every petty criminal in the state would try her until she proved herself. Which would put her children and family in direct danger. Jason on the other have was a know threat, his capabilities were well know and if not respected, feared. His willingness to respond and hold the line was well established over years of wading through blood and bullets and death.

Show has become major dissapointment with some very off putting storylines.....I have zero desire to see Nina/Sonny together after she withheld the truth from Sonny for 9months (That have no inadvertently defined as 6 months)....I was shocked to the core when they actually had Nick/Esme "do the do" which I thought they wld hint around at w/o ever allowing them to cross a line they can't come back from.....How are Ava/Spencer ever going to reconcile Nick sexing Esme???

Sonny is not the man who he was he still needs to own up to the fact that Nina is a horrible human being!!!!

But Nina screwed up when she told Wiley that Willow wasn’t his mom without asking when Nelle would be brought up. Didn’t care about Wiley, just herself. Then when she was given another chance she kept Sonny away from his family for months. So Carly upset her. Fine. Nina could’ve called Michael or Willow or Dante. Hell she could’ve told Sonny himself who he was. As for Carly with Willow being Ninas daughter, Carly is still waiting in the results isn’t she? Wait til after she has to test results.
