This is quite literally what the title says. An introduction to who he is and what his goals are as a musician. I'm SUPER excited for you guys to get into Mansion and further because that's when the real journey begins IMO. Mansion is his first dip into his mental health and how music will ultimately be his key to recognizing, deal with, and having a career on his mental misfortune. It's a beautiful song. I'm so excited for you guys to hear it.

I've been waiting for you guys to start this journey. We Outcast will show up for anyone taking this journey. I'll let you in on a secret I'm 51 yrs old never could get into any rap since my day with 2Pac. On an off handed click on you tube I heard my first NF song 2 yrs ago and went on the journey myself and I was amazed at the amount of REAL EMOTION he lays on a track. Keep it going and if you do them close together you'll keep a memory of how they will connect for one song to another and album to album 🤯. PS DON'T DO THE INTROS BACK TO BACK THEY ARE SEPARATE ALBUM AND ARE MEANT TO BE HEARD THAT WAY.

Mansion is one of the most important songs that connects his discography. Don’t skip it.

So happy to see more NF reactions, I agree a lot that the production on intro 1 is very loud and drowns out a lot of what Nate says, it’s unfortunate but thankfully (imo) it’s the only song of his that is this way. Yes Mansion is the next song on the list after this one and 100% recommended to listen to as it’s a big connector and piece of the NF journey. For many reasons. Can’t wait to see more! If anyone complains about you thinking this isn't as good as the more recent stuff. Refer them to Pandemonium (off the Hope album), NF said himself "2020 me could never hold a candle to the present day me standing here before you".

The fact that NF doesn't curse is thing that even HOPSIN said that it is very hard and challenging to write lyrics without cussing.

LOL> The Intros are for each album and the involve content from the NF Journey to get the story. I will point out that all the albums have Intros but NF quit calling them Intros after album album 3 Perception so The Search, Clouds, and Hope are all Intros as well. A few of the same characteristics in every Intro: No chorus, epic beat drops, orchestral production, fast raps, and haunting choirs will be found in every Intro.

You guys must listen Therapy Session fr. So you can perfectly understand Nathan's story and his dedication to his fans.

It is his first album as NF, so technically, it is his first album. However, it is actually his THIRD album as far as his journey, the first two were under his full name Nathan Feurstein, and people didn't pay much attention because he was a Christian rapper. That's also why he doesn't cuss in his music. Like at all.

The comparison to Em should never make anybody mad, because everybody has influences in whatever field they choose in life. NF has stated multiple times in interviews that Eminem was a major influence and he heard too much of Em in his own music, he even said he used to curse in his songs.

Starting Off Correct! every album has an intro for the album which (the intros and outro) have a connected storyline.. so def dont skip mansion etc do the journey in order because its a huge storyline (of his life at the time they were written). and as far as the comparison to "b rabbit" dont worry you can make that comparison.. most of the reason alot of the fanbase is vocal about (not making that comparison) will become understood through the journey. Intro 2 is the intro of the next album. BTW... intro 2 is the one song that really does what you mentioned in terms of the production making it tough to hear him. I wish they had backed off of it a bit on that song.

Yeah you're right, Intro II is the first track from the second album (same with Intro III and the third album). So don't skip Mansion...not only is it one of his best (still my personal favorite), but it's one of the most important on the journey. I just subbed, I'm ready to see what yall got to say about this journey.

Nate readily admits that his early stuff CLEARLY is heavily Eminem influenced, almost like he's trying to sound like Em. HOWEVER! Once he started playing with Tommee Profitt and found his confidence, it's like Nate grew up on Eminem, which obviously was his biggest influence, like the rest of the midwest white boys that love rap. But once he found his sound, Nate and Tommee should be oscar/grammy winning artists. And in general, all art is "influence" incarnate. Someone creates something that inspires someone else. Then they create something based on that inspiration. And it trickles down until there's a culture or sub-genres and such. Everyone needs to stop looking at artists through a lens of labels, and just close your eyes and listen, with a clear mind and no judgement, and judge the world with a complete view of it.

Guys it may not be your type of rap but you really should react to Dan bull he has amazing bars and a really good cadence when he raps, I suggest the civilisation rap, it's amazing story telling through rap but it still holds up as an amazing standalone rap ☺️

Please do your own Journey and not go by the lists ppl are sending y'all 🙏. I've been through this quite a lot with others that take the journey and the stuff that gets left out, etc...isn't what 'you' would have wanted out. Honestly IMO just go through the albums the way they are done by Nate and then decide if 'this or that' was something you really liked or not. It's your channel and your decision, at the end of the day, we'd all be here for y'alls journey either way ❤ Ps.
