Here in Michigan a lot of guys are taking the 1st cutting off then plant corn

Darn hay won’t stop growing. Rain won’t stop, equipment can’t stay working. So far behind around here I’ve had it

Sometimes it does feel like more money could be made just staying in the house.

That is really good looking soil. It has enough sand in it the slabs will never get hard.

It helps conteract my crooked row. 😂 Ever since I bent it brush hogging I haven't snagged it again. In my life as soon as I fix it I'll bend it again. 🤣🤣

​@@martymartin2894 It still works It's better for the environment to not unnecessarily replace things that function fine In the overall scope of what is going on in the world a muffler being bent means nothing. I guess I'm just not as vain as you to care about looks.

None of the pos I’d work around here, all froze up. Only 1 works I guess

What about putting the 986 on the disc and hitting it with disc before it bakes I know we have done that before chisel plowed a little wet then next day hit it with a finishing tool and turned out pretty good

I think that it'll be more of an issue being damp that since I don't have duals it'll just pack the tire track more and the disks won't be able to work out those strips Either way it'll probably take an extra trip to break it up and be better to wait till it gets drier.

How do you like the Oliver plow? I’ve had experience with international ford and John Deere plows but never an Oliver 😄. Always fun to roll over some dirt.

I'm probably the wrong one to ask since I've only plowed with white/Oliver. 😂 I've only used 4 bottom 14 inch 3 of white plows, a 508 auto resets (the best), and these 546. Only JD plows around here are the potato guys using roll over plows and they seem to do a good job. Listening to what people say though whether they used them or not the most complaints I hear are about JD plows. I would say IH are a real close second to white. The later Ford's and even case were made by White. The frames may be slightly different but the wear parts are White/Oliver.

Oliver built plows for ford.

You should cut the grass down its looks away to long to be ploughing

This is the only set up I've plowed with. I do remember growing up my dad plowing with trailer plows, a 2 bottom JD plows on a JD 520 and a 2 bottom Oliver on a JD 60. Then later adding a third bottom to the Oliver plow to pull it with a 880 Oliver. I still have those Oliver plows.

The wheel spacing on the tractor is probably set a little too narrow. For the amount I plow it's not worth the time to change it back and forth. It does better on the IH in the next vid.
