I was at the memorial today. I well up with pride when I hear him say "Let's Roll." He wasn't going down without a fight. He brought the American fighting spirit right to the enemy. Stand up like Todd.

Todd -you are a real American hero and have the eternal respect and gratitude of the nation.

I’m sure the pain of losing a child is indescribable, but I hope he finds some solace in knowing his son died truly a hero. He and the rest of those passengers saved hundreds of lives by doing what they did

What astonishes me is that Todd and the others completely accepted that bizarre situation so quickly and then made the best possible move. I’m humbled and deeply thankful to these guys and their families.

What a brave, young man Todd Beamer was and always will be to us forever and ever. I hope his children and children’s children will always remember their father as a hero.

Just this past June I went to the 93 memorial. Have been wanting to go for sometime now. It was absolutely the most beautiful, spiritual event in my life. Peaceful, yet spoke volumes. When I saw the marble with Todds name on it, I lighty placed my hand on his name. I will never forget that moment. Everyone should visit this memorial.

He will go down in history as a hero.

I was in 3rd grade, English class to be specific that day. While I never knew Todd, I think of him every September 11th, even other random days during the year. I had the honor of seeing his name at the 9/11 memorial. In 2001, for my little all start softball team, our uniform patch had his legendary, “Let’s Roll” on the patch. ❤️🇺🇸🇺🇸

They had to have known that they were probably not going to make it but they saved other people I read the White House was a possible target and his dad and others also said the hijackers were headed to the capitol it's just surreal if you sit and think about it

Every time I hear 'let's roll' I want to cry! Such incredible courage displayed that day!

I visited the memorial for the first time yesterday. Inspiring, somber, emotional. Everyone should go there at least once. Thanks to folks like Todd and those other brave Americans onboard!!

20 min flight time is nothing, they could’ve easily sat there and let whatever was gonna happen happen. They decided they weren’t gonna sit like ducks, even when they knew they would die most likely. God bless em all.

I was 7 when 9/11 happened... I'm only finding out about this man... Release the full audio of the event. We need to hear it.

We always say our goodbyes with a simple "love!"

What makes these heroes even more incredible is that they made a conscious decision to wait until they were over rural ground before storming the cockpit. They knew crashing elsewhere would lead to ground casualties.

My Brother & I plan on visiting the site next year

Todd Beamers name is a name which i will never forget!I sat here in England that day watching stunned,as was the rest of the world.When i heard about Todd and those guys acttions ive always thought Courage in the face of adversity! His name is imprinted in my memory banks!rip.

I'm not an American but I cried so much reading about UA93. I was 2 years old when the attack happen. Seeing footages of the event was harrowing even as a Filipino who's never been anywhere but the Philippines. I know there have been catastrophic and violent responses by the US government in the aftermath of the attack but it's kinda difficult to blame them. The great heroism, courage, and sacrifice that the passengers made on UA93 was enormous. I almost felt like I'm an American while reading about it because my heart swelled with so much pride and I cried. It's such a shame that many young people in America have no idea what September 11 means.

I visited in July 2023. Beautiful memorial, so still and peaceful despite the tragedy that unfolded over that field

Why is this anchor so upbeat in the opening?

The BRAVEST man who ever lived in America and a true hero of his country... Not all superheroes wear capes, but Todd certainly wore the American flag on his back that day. Todd, we salute you and will forever 'ROLL' with you!

The plane was 20 minutes away from the capitol building when it crashed into that field in Pennsylvania 20 freaking minutes 😮

The word Hero is much overused, But where this guy is concerned, He's a hero for sure. He knew He was going to die, But he wanted to go down fighting, the sort of guy every army unit would be proud to have him on their side.

He's the real life Optimus prime! God bless his soul. So beautiful he prayed before acting.

Flight 93 heroes were from New Jersey and Bay Area. Guys who were from much different areas uniting to resist terrorism..

I hate this report....this "reporter" was smiling the whole time...and it seemed like she tried to make it about her. Just my 2 Cents worth. Todd Beamer was a hero....no question about that...

I actually got to build a good portion of that memorial being in the carpenters union at the time. I also got to cater the 5 and 10 year marks with my familys restaurant at the time. I was in 4th grade in somerset when the plane went down and 12 years later i was building the memorial. Crazy how things go.

I read book called Let's Roll hes wife Mrs Beamer wrote book about her husband and the book was very heartbreaking to read

Well they may work now. But in 2001 most cell phones were analog, and that gave them greater range. A 2003 study involving 37 flights confirmed that cell phone connections were being made at all stages of flight, thus refuting the truth movement's BIG LIE about impossible cell phone calls.

An ACTUAL ON CAMERA study filmed by Japanese TV station “ASAHI TV” in Canada in 2003, tested 3 cell phones from 3 different companies at 3 different altitudes. Only 1 worked at 6,000 ft, and all 3 were totally useless at 10,000 ft. These phone call were claimed to have been made on a plane that was more than 20,000 ft in altitude traveling at over 500mph. Do you have any observable and verified study that can you dispute this obvious discrepancy? Why are you speaking so arrogantly when you have presented precisely 0 evidence of anything? Please do better.

As to the study, it was in IEEE Spectrum, I think the title was "Unsafe at Any Altitude" by Bill Strauss. I'm happy to give you more details tomorrow, because right now I have no further time.
