Oh my days, in love with the 4th resin example. Mixing the powder in the resin it looked like ribbons of silk. Would anyone know if they have tried it on UV crafting please. ???

when using the flakes/powder, do you need mold release agent or just apply?

What is the white paste you put on after to make the outline items stand out? I want to buy some please. I’m one of your regular customers and I’ve never seen that item. Thanks, Brandy Anderson

Wow thank you so much for this video! I find it difficult to tell what a pigment will actually look like when it's just a stock photo of dry powder. This was super helpful 😍 I am curious, does using white resin (instead of black) with these pigments make a difference to how it turns out?

It will look a little different, and will work better on black resin.

Um hey miss. I am making some earrings and searching for some ideas. So if i use resin then will i let it just dry like a normal mouldit clay or to like something cure it. Cause i found some videos doing cure something with machine. Whats that?? Can u explain

I love y’all’s chameleon pigments!! I only have 6 but I’ll get more when I can!! I love the roundish key chains y’all made on your Amazon page. It’s the 2nd video in the 10 pack chameleon pigment powders set. I wanted to ask what did y’all use to make the bubbles that y’all cured in the uv resin and then brushed on the chameleon colors…regular hand soap? Something like dawn dish soap? Regardless, it’s really the prettiest and creative things ever!! They are really just gorgeous!!!🔥🔥👏👏❤

It's all different varieties of flake with different colors on different sides of the flake. Think of a diamond with different colors all around it. Whatever side has the main light will show the color and it would be different as the light source changes position

Can you also use a darker alcohol ink type like alcohol dark blue with these chameleon powders? I have ordered chameleon powder and normal mica powders but also have alcohol ink lying around. Kinda curious how this mica powder would react with a see through dice due to alcohol ink

Yes, you can do that!

I just bought the resin and a skull mould. Did you pour in layers to allow each layer to dry or was it all poured in one after the other while still wet?

For the skull you can just pour all at once, we poured 3 times because sometimes we mixed far less resin than the skull need 🤣

for some reason when i apply chameleon mica powder to a mold, the coverage looks patchy once i take it out of the mold, any idea why?

There may be two reasons: one is that the brushing is uneven, and the other is that the mold has been used many times and the mica is not firmly attached. 😊

@@LETSRESIN well, definitely not the latter, since I used a brand new mold. And it looked like enough powder was applied before pouring, but I guess it wasn’t quite enough

@@mizzdimplez3818 Hi, when I’ve done it, as soon as you are done with applying it to one , before it dries, you wipe it off immediately. It somehow stays in the crevices but only wipes off the top (the place you do t want it once dry) I hope that helps and I hope it made sense. 😊

Let’s Resin, are these pigments lightfast? Could it be used by professional artists to sell art with these pigments without the risk of fading?
