I wouldn't mind seeing you make updated videos on which D2 schools should make the jump to the FCS and which FCS schools should make the jump to the FBS as well as FBS schools that should drop to the FCS.

I know this is all just for fun. But Weber State is a founding member of the Big Sky and would never leave it for the Big West. The only team Weber has history with in that conference is NAU. Weber's traditional rivals are ISU and the Montanas. A fun Idea but seeing Weber in the Big West makes me gag lol.

Stetson don't give scholarships and I don't think Marist does either.

I’m not entirely sure that Northwest Missouri State is big enough to be FCS, especially since Maryville is a small town in the middle of nowhere but I know that they are supported all the way down to the KC suburbs

You should talk about st Thomas moving to d1 from d3

There are a couple of conferences to add to your off limits list (with Ivy and SWAC). Thise are the MEAC (HBCU, just like SWAC) and Pioneer because they don't allow football scholarships so asking those teams to compete with other schools who DO offer scholarships wouldn't necessarily work out well. But on premise I like videos that "blow things up" and discuss how things could be aligned better.

If you haven't done one but FCS schools that would be competitive in the FBS G5 and schools that could move up to the FCS

What about the Minnesota State University Mavericks and west Florida join the fcs and Kentucky State University and Virginia State University unk and Wayne State college and Norte dame college and West Virginia State University chadron State college?

NWMSU was a good call, they also keep winning in basketball. Should come up to D1

I got a realign idea for you Dustin. Remember how Penn State wanted to make its own conference? You should that different teams and realign the ripple effect too. Example: Notre Dame Conference features USC, Stanford, Purdue, Boston College, etc. The idea is for team to control their surroundings to leave out of conference slots open because their rivals are in conference. I could even help you write it.

Joe did NOT want his own conference....Joe wanted to get all the "Big East" schools to form an ALL-sports conference not just for basketball. There were those like BC and Rutgers to name a few that shot that idea down because they said Penn State football would just dominate them (i.e. see TX and OK, in Big12 for last decade+ and now to SEC). Joe also said several important things back in the 70's and 80's, like PSU should get lions share of $$ from bowls and TV(TV deals back then not being like they have for past couple decades) since they were the ones doing the heavy lifting (i.e. see GA Tech leaving SEC in 60's AND argument about TX in Big 12 in last several years.). So the Big East didn't form and the ACC turned PSU down also, since they said they were a basketball first conference and Penn State sucked at B-ball and would "NOT" add anything to the ACC conference So, Big 10 tried to lure ND by also adding another of their rivals in Penn State but after PSU signed the contract, ND backed out. So that is how the Big10(11) became stuck with their despised illegitimate red-headed(actually Blue{and White}-blooded) step-child. And after 27 years they sort of accepted the largest program on the East coast. Which still has fewer alumni in the original Big10 footprint than any place in the country. Even more alums in the original SEC(even excluding Florida!) footprint. More alums in state of Florida than the entire Big10. More in the Carolinas and Georgia; more in Virginia and Maryland (DelMarVa) ; more in New Jersey ; more in California ; more in PAC12 ; more in Texas ; get the picture? Seems PSU fits best in ACC, or SEC or even PAC 12 , than B1G. To bad they didn't write the contract on contingent that Notre Dame has to join or PSU can leave at anytime. Swofford would have scooped PSU up with FSU in a heartbeat!! Then after he raided Big East all the old rivalries would remain and newer ones created. And the Big33 Game between the Ohio vs. PA high school All-stars would still be played every spring.

Looks like you put all tbe power teams in FCS in one conference. NDSU, SDSU, USD, MTS, UMT.

Great video, but I would rather move NM St down to the FCS, then move NW Missouri up from DII.

I would put IUP and Seton Hill in the Northeast conference. Seton Hill will have a direct rivalry with RMU and Duquesne and IUP will have a rivalry against St. Francis.

That's always bugged my mind about the OVC. There's not one single team from Ohio in the OVC, and most of its members are from Kentucky and Tennessee. And now it's golden geese in football and baseball are gone in the forms of JSU and EKU, respectively.

It's called the Ohio Valley Conference, because the schools are in states along the Ohio River.

James Madison University is no longer FCS. They are a member of, or soon will be, of the Sun Belt Conference of FBS.

2:20 Sadly Central Connecticut State would need to compete with Western Connecticut State, Eastern Connecticut State, and Southern Connecticut State for that title.

You said Duquesne just like a Burgher would(correctly) lol....(that is a Pittsburgh area native, just a typical Westsylvanian)

ETSU and Western Carolina should not be split up, as that has become a bit of a big rivalry for both schools

Thanks, I hate it. Also Valley is named as such because its the Missouri river valley not the state. Valley is the toughest conference and you knee capped it and made the Big Sky schedule hell. While geography is important so is parity

Probably wouldn't happen, as Ivy schools don't give out athletic scholarships, while Georgetown has. That has also worked against very academic schools such as Bucknell, Richmond, or W&M.

Sub the Big West to the Western Athletic Conference.

I think you should realign the non-football subconfrences with the football ones because the Summit League is barely holding on, and the isolation of the Iowa MVC schools really looks bad(also this breaks up a BB crosstown rivalry in Valpo and Loyola Chicago, and rivalries like Bradley-Illinois State) also it makes reallignment with schools like Belmont really weird as they look to join a absolutely crippled MVC or stick to a mediocre OVC Plus the Pioneer should have been left out due to their lack of scholarships

Well first of all, I am glad Dixie State is changing their name. I always thought a school in Utah called Dixie State was a little out of place. Now I'm a huge NDSU fan that lives in Seattle. You have 2 thumbs up here. I can go to the games at EWU and PS to watch them.

My ONLY complaint: ACU is way too far from its other teams.

That's why they are in the Southland in real life. They can get an easy win against the NSU Demons who suck in sports except for that awesome win in the NCAA Tournament years ago
