    I've seen someone in chat wondering about the muffled lyrics in the boss theme of this game, so let me elaborate on that. The voice says "Total sentence imposed is ten" and comes from a sample audio library that producers could use back in the day. The full sentence says "Total sentence imposed is ten years in the state prison" spoken by judge Robert Thomas who sentenced Christian Brando for murdering Dag Drollet in 1990. The same audio sample can also be found in the game Command & Conquer.

    Kislev was the point in the game when I realised just how invested I was in the characters. In my opinion it’s biggest strength is the characters and the relationships between them. Even the minor characters have so much personality and that really ups the stakes for everything. An area being destroyed means so much more when the locals are all so likeable and the villains are so unlikeable.
