I basically never play any solo boardgames, but I gave it a go with Undaunted: Normandy + Reinforcements a few days ago, and I must say it really surprised me how fun it is. In the beginning it's a bit awkward until you learn how to read the solo cards, but once you get used to that, it has a nice flow to it. If you're on the edge on whether to buy it, I'd recommend it very much.

The support from the developer is phenomenal! This is a huge plus to potential players such as me.

Awesome play-through. I have the DVG Castle Itter solotaire game which is a great challenge. As soon as I saw the title of this game I had to watch it!

As an owner of the Normandy base game I can attest to the smoothness of this game. I've seen on the web a conversion to miniature soldiers too. Very in-depth game play that explains most of the mechanics. Thanks for the replay!

Undaunted really surprised me after my first place. A whole lot of positive stuff going on with this game - great design.

Had no idea that these missions were accessible. The castle Itter story is so cool.

Picked up Normandy & Reinforcements after your playthrough a year or so ago now need to get it back out.

I didn't know they had additional scenarios, that's cool.

The additional scenarios offer a lot of growth potential. This one is a good example of a niche scenario which wouldn’t be likely to show up in the box but can easily be added on afterwards.

Very interesting alternative scenario. And some very brutal rifle grenade action!

Love the undaunted Series and massive fan of Roland’s work both on this and Western Legends!

I'm currently playing through Undaunted Normandy with a friend of mine. great game. I am thinking about building miniature tiles and using minis to play it.

Yea, we tried this battle and it sure was interesting and wery cleaverly built!

So much gameplay in such a small box (compared to the new Stalingrad box - think of the playability in that!)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think unlike Blast, for the Grenade action you still add the distance to the base and tile defense, and it only targets enemy units. Great playthrough regardless, valiant effort!

Great game companies like Osprey make me so happy when they provide those little extras like free downloads to support their games. Others would charge an arm and a leg for even one special card.

This does seem a nice and neat way to play out some of the those "what if" WW2 battles without spending 6 months getting the right terrain and number of rivets sorted for minis. Colour me interested.

Thanks for the videos. How come this one and the interview don't show up in the main stream of videos? The only one that came up in my subscription list was the unboxing. I only noticed these because of the recommendations at the end of the unboxing. Would hate for people to miss these videos.

Am considering buying this game, I see it a lot at tabletop game stores and at Barnes & Noble. Looks interesting and this video really reinforced my interest.

Love the Undaunted games, do we know if they fixed the cardback colour issue from Reinforcements where the colours didnt match up with the cardbacks from Normandy?

I never played any in the series but...Undaunted Normandy base game, with two identical decks, can create an asymmetrical experience and also let players build their own decks (=strategic approach) to win each scenario. That's my feeling after having watched some playthrough videos.

Have seen this a few times and wasn't really interested preferring miniature games, does look interesting though.

What an annoying scenario. These post-release scenarios are a really cool value-add but when I play through some of them I'll probably skip this one, honestly.
