I started playing this version when I was 6-7 years old. It brings back so many memories.

Saw this in my recommended and knew instantly I was going to binge watch this. I think it should stay at 1.7.3 honestly… barely any new videos on that version so it’s nice to see it

Oh yeah we got this on that recommended 🤣🤣🤣 worth a sub. Minecraft beta is great. I would love to see someone do a world where they start on Minecraft beta and work there way up over episode span. Whether it takes up to 30 or more episodes. Definitely be interesting to see how the game breaks along the way

Playing on the latest version at the time of this comment (1.20.6) I found a diamond block above deepslate with the old texture. Which in itself is extremely rare. Diamonds at Y-0 are hard to find upon themselves. So I took a photo and reminisced of the old days in middle school. Coming home and hopping on Xbox Minecraft to mine and play with my friends after school.

This is too nostalgic. The very first time i got into Minecraft was during beta 1.7.3 back in 2011 and i remember it clearly. I was 14

I started playing on the Xbox 360 in 2015, but I didn't have internet so I was stuck on an older version. (it was like on tu11) so I didn’t get to experience this but I have played this version and it has that feeling that you are describing and I didn’t even start then lol.

I couldn't build with the new textures since 1.13, I still am in 1.12

I didnt have the chance to play the beta version as i didnt have a pc at all back then but i started on 1.18. I do want to play beta verson one day, also the thumbnail did "get" me... so your plan worked. Lol

I agree! The differences between 1.7.3 and 1.8 are definitely there, but it's still the same game. Regarding my idea of slowly updating the game as I play, I'll be carrying that over to a separate series. I don't know when I'll get around to it, but it won't be far from now.
