The pin is pushed up to keep contacts open. When it heats up the pin droops down to make contacts.

I saw this video you did, and I wondered how did you supply the 24 volts to the sequencer? Also, what brand or equipment did you use to supply the 24 volts? Thanks in advance for your reply.
