What I would like to see if any of those brands will allow you to repair and/or replace any of the units on the tractors. My understanding is, 10 years and JD will quit selling repair parts for units. And they sue anyone rebuilding parts is what I am told.

You would think the amount of money you pay for a modern tractor they would have a decent sound system and a good fridge for the large markets like Canada & Australia etc as you work so far from the farm and will spend literally the whole day and more in the tractor those creature comforts are a necessity not a luxury.

can you do the beginning of the day oil check without lifting the hood? -- assume not since you make a point of it -- also assume a manufacturer process to make you look at the engine for problems - maybe you get to it on maintenance but how easy to check and change air filters - Fendt's air intakes seem a lot lower and in the dust

So that waeco fridge you have in you cab of the fendt is designed as a fridge but it’s designed to run constantly and takes 2-3 hours to cool down before you even put food in it I don’t know how fendt secured it but it runs on 12/24 or 120v power if it was me I’d be taking it back and forth from work to home and plugging it in to keep it constantly running given it’s the lightweight more portable version on these fridges that need constant power to stay cold if you had a long drive to the tractor you’d have to plug into the truck on the way to work too it’s a decent idea but not really the most practical
