In the 70's I went to my hometown and the people there called the ripen chips " kiss wano" meaning kiss your mouth. That was my favorite. Thank you for bringing the oldies.

When i heard you took a taste of it, the sound of the crunch made my mouth wata with saliva. Adding onions in the mixture can imagine the taste and flavor. Bringing back your favorite childhood snack is amazing especially introducing it to your kids telling them stories about it is priceless. I love the light golden color on the chips. I rather ripping and dropping it seems very easy. It's so satisfying to watch while frying it. I can't wait for the coated peanut recipe. Thanks for sharing your childhood snack with us.
