I really love this idea, Barbara. Such a beautiful outcome. While you were making it I also thought it would be an ideal frame to do an underwater theme with fish and coral whilst looking through a porthole from a boat. Thanks for sharing this with us 🌷

What is left to say...Blessed summer solstice! Such a delicate page, i just love it, made me think at summers spent at my grandparents, around 40 years ago, no worries, just wild flowers and butterflies! ♥♥♥

a wonderful 3D effect, like looking through a window

This is a really nice idea! I like it a lot. I'm thinking I won't glue the pages together, someone can just turn each page and see the scene build. Then check the left page as you turn pages. Something will be framed on the left side too.

I was holding my breath that you would catch on that the second page needed to be smaller instead of bigger. But you caught it in time thank goodness. It's so hard when you want to say something because you feel like you're right there with you and yet that's not how it works

Morning Barbara, what a lovely spread and idea. Love the holes and the suggestion that we are looking into a wonderland. It is so pretty. Love all that you do and have never yet been disappointed. I like how your princess is peeking through the hole.

This was soooooo fun, even though it's simple I find it very effective and It will be added to my list! I gasped when the jar started to leak...but luckily all was fine. The water brush technique on paper was a great tip, as I do this with tissue paper but had not thought of doing this on regular weight paper....BAM... great idea! Thanks Barbara for these videos...they are so wonderful to watch!

Love that Meadow Page! And thank goodness you caught the black paint in time!! This is one of my favorite pages! (Must be the Butterflies!!)

This reminds me of the colouring book Worlds Within Worlds. So many possibilities. You could even hide the entrance so you have to lift/ undo something before you see the little world.

A lovely, sweet piece. Very calming. A pleasure to look at.

I found a few journals I made a couple years ago and one of them is ABSOLUTLEY PERFECT (I just got out of bed and went the living room to confirm it) for some holes. This is gorgeous and I love the grungy holes on the layers... if you had a hard time gluing them down it sure didn't look like it. It's a MomK must do 🤨 ... OK, COPY!!! 😉🙂😁 it's a MomK must COPY! Hello Barbara, i love this page, great idea! I had a gasp when you shook the black … but it’s all ok. It’s 12 weeks since I fell and had to have surgery on my ankle. I can hobble around the house now, but it’s still painful. I have two metal plates and 14 screws in it! I’ve not been crafting as my craft room has been inaccessible until this week. And the surgery left me feeling quite poorly for a long time. Anyway, almost ready to start again. This is a page or three you could also use in an altered book. Definitely a good idea thank you 😊💐💐🤗

This was so fun. I enjoyed it so much. Pulling out your water brush helped so much! I keep forgetting I have one. Lol. It came with a set of tearing rulers I got a long time ago. When I read Let’s Make Holes in our Journal, I panicked. Lol!! Oh no! What’s happening. But I loved it! Even the scary parts. Lol. A little drama is good every once in a while. Can’t wait to try this. I’m editing here because I forgot to say…. This was such a fun page to see you work on because we got to see out cute Prince on the page next to it. Lol. It’s been a while.

Also I am a fanatic for details. I never would have tried to incorporate a label on wrinkled paper. I always try to make them flat and perfect. I'll give this a try. I like the look. TFS. I wondered "why" when you placed the jar on top of your artwork and then added the black acrylic into it; thinking what if you have an accident on top of your page! And suddenly you shook it. So glad it still turned out so well. Thank you.
