I think your page is much better than the regular “Halloween” ephemera, it has a very authentic look! I don’t like Halloween personally but I love your page and creativity! Love it when you say brayed furlap!🤣💕🇨🇦

I’m usually “meh…” when it comes to seasonal pages with ghosts and goblins. But I just love your creepy take on the Halloween theme! So much so that I’m gonna give a spooky page a go, and I never thought that I’d say that! Thanks for the inspiration. 🕷️🕷️🕷️

Simple items made into something spectacular!🎉🎉🎉. This could be a cool shadow box that you can put out at this spooky time of year. The raven could rejoin the group as a frame element.

The ripped wallpaper ended up looking like it had been peeled off the wall and it's amazing!

I think this turned out PERFECTLY!! Just creepy enough! I was calling for you to put the spider in her hair because I think that's the worst of the bunch to have in my hair!😵 And it worked perfectly with keeping the word exposed! All the things that "went wrong" ended up being great!👍👍 Thanks for sharing! ❤

Love all the embossing, etc! The spider in her hair and her bat wings make it so creepy.

I had to stop the video and just say that watching all those accident tears ... I would have thrown in the towel.. but in my head I'm thinking " at the end of it all Barbara is going to create something absolutely gorgeous out of this as she always does". ok back to the video to watch until the end when I'm proven right. Well you surpassed my expectations!! That turned out incredible!! I have no idea how you do it.. but I'm in awe and inspired!!

I think it's so funny the way you say Frayed Burlap backwards I actually didn't catch that until you said something. This is so cool Love the way it turned out and does show you don't have to have all the Halloween ephemera to make a grungy spooky journal card.

SWEET! This looks great! I was SURE you were adding color that would be way too dark but I WAS WRONG!!! I can't believe that sparkly black paper was wall paper. Who on earth would want that black sparkle on their walls (as least I understood you to say it was wall paper)? The tag on the owls foot was an extra special touch! You are so creative. I'm in awe. Great video!

I’m so glad you used the backside of the black glittery paper. All of the inks and water made the grungy factor go through the roof. I think your Halloween page turned out so good!! And I love the way “accidents” like the way the Wallpaper ripped downwards in what seemed to be too much at first, ended up being one of those things you couldn’t have planned to be so good. Lol. A Happy accident. I love this page. It was perfect for the end of the October signature. ♥️♥️♥️

Brayed furlap! 🤣! I love how this turned out and if someone did not have the distress inks or die cuts, etc., a similar effect could still be created with watercolors or acrylics in dark colors. I love this design you created!

Delightfully terrifying! So stylish! The cheesecloth can also be used as a veil on a hat (for the paper doll's head). The spider could reside on the hat as well. But that would obscure the 'memory'... so not for this project, no.

Wow strong wallpaper.

Love this page! You pay so much attention to every little detail.

The memory find reminded me of newspaper Obituaries. There are usually "In Memorial" sections to mark anniversaries of a persons passing Also the framed woman reminded me of some scenes from a horror movie called The Ring. Only i think that was an Oval frame. Round frames were popular in Victorian times. There are some cultures who are terrified of owls. An omen of death or something A perfectly spooky page

You're an amazing artist, and this is superb. I was willing you to put the spider in her hair, and I cheered when you did it!! 😅 Thank you so much for sharing this with us. Also, I saw a video recently, where an artist was advised to shake ink spray bottles, side to side rather than up and down, because she was told it doesn't clog up the hole in the spray bit. I tried it recently, and it has worked so far, so I thought I'd pass the tip on. There's nothing worse is there, than having lots of ink left, but it just won't spray. Take care Barbara, xx❤❤😊😊😊😊😊
