I’ve been doing hair since 1983. Be careful not to overdue on the protein in your hair. It can cause it to break after too much use.

Yes, definitely! You've got to know you hair so you can give it what it needs, not just blindly blast it with 'good' ingredients :)

I really like the idea of kaolin clay and corn starch in a shampoo but they seem to leave flakes residue on my hair.

I absolutely love your chanel. I have a challenge for you. I am looking at creams for a friend that is having chemotherapy. On the medical news today it gives some lotions. The ingredients are the follow: purified water, mineral oil, glycerine, lanolin, salicylic acid as well as emulsifying wax. Would you be able to come out with a formulation? Much love. Stefania

In this formula, yes, but you'd need to test the pH and potentially adjust.

I go into this at 50:24 :) Generally it's just that I think it'll be a bit over the head for total newbies. Imagine if it were a workshop on creating your own cookie recipe, but you'd never done any baking before and didn't know how to measure ingredients, didn't understand how flour and sugar were different and what they do in a product, etc.?
